Opioids Fentanyl Patches and Opana Er

Swim just got perscribed 25mcg's of Fentanly. PriCara brand. Swim put it on his arm. Took a hot shower , came down stairs and put the heating pack on it for 20 minutes. Fell asleep for a few hrs. woke up and cut a strip off the patch, chewed on half of it for a while, re placed the patch on his wrist, and waited for the effects to happen. Took patch off & stopped chewing patch for about 3.5 hrs. Felt fine.
Swim was also prescribed 40 mg Opana er's , swim wants to rig up a nice little dose and get down to business. Swim is cautious when it comes to fentanyl though. To many of swims friends have ODed on these things.

Swim is opiate tolerant. Swim just got done shooting dope for 4 days in a row. Atleast 4 bags a day. swim is still worried about shooting opana while wearing the patch. Sounds like a bad Idea But also sounds like a great idea, But since He cannot tell if Patch is too strong yet. Swim is worried about OD.

Any advice or similar stories will be appreciated.
Swim does not care about anti junky propaganda. But swim is very big on harm reduction.

1. stop using SWIM; it's fucking annoying.


2. i have little to no experience with opana ER, but i have come in contact with the Timerx a time or two, good luck on trying to get past it.


3. just chill out and start again tomorrow with a fresh dose of whatever.
 
thanks for the reply. But Swim doesn't know why you answered if you have no experience. swim did do what he wanted. It worked really well. Swim said he had a hard time looking at the tv today. Something about not being able to watch it all the time. Swim said that everything went black and then he'd wake up scratching himself.
I'm gonna go for a swim now.

i really curious why is it every now and again someone posts and its swim this and swim that. i have came to the conclusion maybe on other web sites u have to use it instead of saying yourself which in my opinion is stupid as hell. anyways does it stand for something? it beyond gets on my nerves
 
We don't swim here itchy, you're much more likely to get replies if you replace the swim's with 'I', 'Me' etc.

I agree with your general concept here, but i'm not so sure that your idea about his tolerance is correct. You say that his tolerance "really isnt that high" while he says "swim is opiate tolerant" and he leaves it there. He doesnt really go into much detail about his opiate tolerance past that, other than a quick mention of some opiate use that doesnt really paint a readable picture about what his tolerance to opiates actually is.
Like I said, i agree with the general idea that you were trying to convey to him but since he didnt tell us much about his tolerance, I think its best to speak to him from a different point of view. Maybe just telling him that using those drugs together is dangerous no matter what your toelrance is, would be a better way of warning him of possible consequences.

What do you mean?

After he said that he was opiate tolerent he said that he uses at least 4 "bags" a day which is heroin.

Im pretty sure its safe to assume that his tolerence isnt that high, and even if it is are you going to advise him to shoot oxymorphone after just taking a large dose of fentanyl?

I really dont see where your going with this
 
hes saying that you should outline its a bad idea to do for anyone, since op is opiate tolerant in their mind

I believe it started out on the Hive, the famous drug synthesis board. People were fond of posting things like "SWIM (someone who isn't me) did this reaction and created a new fentanyl analogue." And IIRC Drugs-Forum expects you to avoid self-incrimination by posting as "SWIM" or "My pet goldfish Charlie who happens to like cocaine a whole lot..." Since this really provides nothing in the way of legal protections and is annoying to read, Bluelight rules and customs strongly discourage it.
 
^^^^ thanx so much for clearing that up for me i figured it prob stood for something swim is hands dow one of the most inoying things i have ever read thanx again
