be careful mixing drug money and friendships. i'm sure you're good for it and everything but it can be a risky thing. but it is for a legit perscription so i'm sure your friend would understand and not think "addict" when you ask.
i know what you're saying about being labeled as an addict. years ago i was perscribed pentobarbital and later secobarbital for insomnia, then later i was put on a combonation of diazepam and alprazolam to treat insomnia, barbiturate dependence(switch from barbs to benzos), as well as alcoholism.
unfortunately after i switched docs the new one found out about my past barbiturate dependence but was fine at first because he thought it was just for insomnia and it wasn't really my fault. when i asked for benzos, he perscribed them. when i was diagnosed with ADHD and asked for Dexedrine, he started to wonder but perscibed it to me anyways.
now i'm on a lot of benzos, and have scripts for both Adderall and Vyvanse. he says evertime i see him that he won't give any more but always does. i don't look too "shady", as i have only one tattoo that can be seen without me showing my upper arms and back. plus i'm well groomed and in good shape/strong build, so looking at me without knowing me doesn't scream "addict".
but i do know how annoying being labeled as a junkie is.
