I have 30mg mscontin, 60mg, and 100mg, the lower two are round pills while the 100mg is oblong. they are not filled with beads. does anyone know what happens when you break them? say i break the 100mg in half, do i get a time released 50mg mscontin? or do i get 50mg MSIR? i dont seem to notice a coating on the 100mg ones. does anyone have experience breaking/ crushing these?
 
IIRC, a lot of MS-Contins have a max matrix inside the pills so if you break the 100mg in half you'll still have a 50mg MS-Contin. As far as crushing them up and snorting them goes, good luck if they have the wax matrix, some have had success microwaving or using other methods to make the morphine instant release, when I have the luxury of having morphine (and the inconvenience of it being MS-Contin) I usually just chew the pills, or crush them up and then stir in a solution of high proof ethanol and water in a small container (think shot glass), using vodka when everclear isn't on hand, and then drinking the mixture.

To each his own, there are (or were) quite a few excellent threads on here about the various MS-Contins available. Do you know what brand yours are?

Edit: after reading your post again, it sounds like you have the same ones I had, the Mallinckrodt generic, those should be (again, IIRC) the ones with the wax matrix. I'm not familiar with the 100mg ones you've described.
 
The scored, oblong MSContin are usually 200mg, I'm not aware of a 100mg pill with a score to break it but correct me if I'm wrong. How do you plan on consuming the morphine OP? By the way, snorting is pointless IMO, the BA is even lower (around 15-20% ) then morphine's already very low (around 30% ) oral BA. But to each's own I guess, some people love snorting stuff. With morphine IV is definitely the way to go but if you haven't already picked up the needle I wouldn't suggest it, opiates are already a beast in their own way, IV use takes it to a whole other level.
 
The 100mg mscontin is light blue scored on both sides. one side saying "E658" and the other side says "100". the brand is Endo. Would I have better luck with the 60mg ones I have or the 30s? I can give the scores and brands of those too if you think it would help. I am also an experienced IV user (in the past) i tried to drop the IV when it got out of hand. I was IVing roxies, H, and dilaudid. basically anything i could. but i just wanna know about these morphine pills for now. The 30s look like they have a coating, theyre a dark blue green scored (e653)/30) brand name Endo as well. and the 60s I have are round and orange and scored (abg/60) brand is watson pharm.
 
I hope the info on the pills helps someone who knows something more about their make up and which are safe to do which way.
 
Id say just eat them i used to crush it to powder like your gonna snort then just parachute it in a small amount of toilet paper. I have about a 40-60mg oxy tolerance to feel good. not nod and a 100mg mscontin makes me stoned from like 8am till 8pm at night. More of a subtle high but damn does it have some legs

youre lucky, I have a 100mg mscontin + 60-70mg oxy tolerance. it sucks

does anyone have any idea of the make up of these pills and which ones would matter if they were split?
 
I hope that someone out there has info about these pills and what a good ROA is. IMO just taking them whole doesnt relieve my pain to the slightest degree.
 
Stop bumping you own thread, this is not allowed.

This has been discussed TO DEATH which tells me you think we should do all the work for you and you aren't willing to check the directory and do very basic searches which can easily answer all of your questions.
