If he is insensitive to MDMA then all he has to do is take more. I find it better to er on the safe side. 80-100mg is a very reasonable dose to start with.
Pills are quite often shit, but powder can be shit as well. Whatever you get, just be sure it is tested. I promise it is worthwhile spending the $25 on a test kit, getting ecstasy that turns out to be piperazines or some other nasty cut can be a miserable experience.
I just want to commend you for doing the research and taking the time to ask these questions before trying MDMA. Very responsible of you.
Thanks so much, that's great advice. Is there a specific kit I should look for? I'm kind of new - are you allowed to link things? If so, please link me a place to find a kit. If we're not allowed to link, can you PM me with a sight? Thanks and I hope this isn't against the rules..
I would NOT recommend rolling for the first time at a concert. You're going to want to talk and interact with people, which is really hard to do at a concert. I had it happen to me, and I got stuck in my own head. I found out that night that ecstasy can amplify other emotions besides lovey dovey. It got pretty bad. Which was a shame, because it was a great concert. Just keep in mind that if you get deprived of friends or physical contact, you can get paranoid and self-judgmental. I'd suggest a more secluded setting, and just focus on being with people you care about. But I suppose it varies.
That's a great point.. It sounds like you and I might have similar mindsets when it comes to how our emotions affect us. I will definitely keep this in mind when I pick the location for my first rolling experience. Perhaps a dubstep concert at a club where I can get a private room or secluded table with a few friends and my girlfriend? Somewhere we can get a little naughty and no one will mind

Thanks so much to everyone that has responded, I really appreciate all of your advice.. don't take it to mean I don't value your advice if I didn't quote you, I'm very grateful :D
