LSD = life sentence

I don't believe any substance should be considered illegal. that fact that they can lock people in boxes for possessing a chemical is completely ridiculous.

Would you support islamic extremists holding stores of ricin then?
Obviously the government don't want people producing drugs in their country, if mainly because they have signed long-standing international agreements preventing the production, transportation and sale of drugs.

Macguyver would have to live in an empty house.
I can empathise with the guy's plight.
If he was selling drugs directly to DEA agents then he was utterly foolish.
Dealers should only deal through close long-held trusted associates and friends.
It sounds like this guy didn't stick by that idea at all and left himself exposed.
A life sentence is ridiculous, presumably noone died or was seriously injured from taking his acid.
But its America, where the famous get away with murder, literally, because money talks when it comes to defending yourself in court.
When you commit a crime you need to weigh the risks against the benefits.
If he was producing LSD you are taking a risk with severe implications.
Or have I got the wrong end of the stick and this guy is 100% completely innocent and this is all a complete fabrication.

it says he sold over 400 hits to an undercover...

What if a chemical existed that was guaranteed to permanently warp you into an aggressive and deranged individual after trying it once? And the experience wasn't even enjoyable? But for some inexplicable reason, its presence irresistibly compelled people to take it?

Should a hypothetical society allow its members to put that substance into their body?

lol.

I wouldnt put it past our government to start injecting such a drug into a special unit of our own soldiers, or maybe even the police....if they havnt already.

The problem I see with your example is that it sounds almost exactly like what they used to claim simple marijuana would do, before people got comparably educated. Ever seen Refer Madness?

Who is going to determine that this drug permanently turns you into a deranged killer 100% of the time in 100% of the population? The government? a group of fundies with lots of money?

I dont think that ANY drug that is common used as an illicit substance is THAT much of a problem for society. The biggest problems are caused by a lack of harm prevention, and social inequality.

No shit, selling LSD is illegal the world over, if you're selling 400 hits of it, you don't sell to strangers, that's just stupidity. No wonder he's in prison.
However a life sentence is really fucking harsh and I do feel sorry for him.

Crack Cocaine is a massive blight on societies and communities affected by it.
Unfortunately the reuse compulsion causes death and causes girls to sell their bodies for it and even if it was decriminalised it would be the same.
Legalisation i.e. Government regulated supply may work but would it stop women selling their bodies to pay for it, I doubt it.
Maybe the solution is to give drugs away for free a la the swiss solution to their heroin problem. However persuading the taxpayer to pay for the habits of others is not always an easy sell.
Also there is an argument that production and sale of illicit drugs fund gang warfare and terrorism. In some countries gangs become so powerful that they are stronger than the local police and the army.
I feel your utopian views are far too simplistic and don't represent the reality of illict drug manufacture and distribution.

...smoking methamphetamine? besides the being enjoyable part...lol

that sucks balls, but when he was getting around the 16,000 hits or so he was charged with you would think he might have thought this through a bit more, anyway id given him probation and house arrest or some shit, america sucks on many, many levels

yea man he probably knew some shit but the government didnt wanna let him tell ppl..or maybe they just wanted more taxes with another prisoner

I've taken it upon myself to message, comment, flag, and influence the ignorant youtube community to make Krystle Cole feel guilty for what she has done. She sat by while her then husband, Gordon Todd Skinner, wrapped a telephone cord around a teen's dick until they heard a pop and it turned black... More than just a snitch, imo, more like a fucking monster.

Yeah i dont trust that neurosoup girl. And so sad about this life sentence, what a shitty country we live in because of crazy laws like this; hopefully in the future they will go away, and i have faith they will.

[edit im confused]... well he deserves some time in jail. what an asshole, injecting a guy in his dick multiple times? WTF. Appeal for Skinner denied (2009)

Green testified that even though it had been nearly 3 years since the ordeal, he continued to need weekly medical care and that he had constant pain and nerve damage in his groin area and a large mass in his left testicle.
It was also testified by 3 people that Green was given parasites by EDIT:skinner.

[edit]thats just horrible what [skinner] did to that 18 year old kid... just because he slept with that fake hippy neurosoup cunt.

well skinner is the asshole here but i swore i read pickard was involved... would someone clear this up for me?

Sure, crack is harmful, but is it guaranteed to irreversibly warp everyones mind turning them into deranged killers on first contact? That would be a wild exaggeration. I tried it once, and didnt like it. Never used it again and I dont think I am any crazier than I was beforehand.

Mephedrone had some horror stories, like the guy who ripped his own scrotum off, but we are probably talking about a tiny percentage of users.

People should be responsible for the risk, but providing education can help people make informed decisions.....when you lie to people and convince society that drugs are worse than they are, you lose credibility and the users dont trust you as a source, and they end up trusting rumors over the authorities which isnt good either.

Harm reduction has to be honest, not hyperbole intended to scare you.

That would be zero percent. There's a lot of myths around mephedrone, the scrotum story being one of them. I'm not saying that mephedrone is completely harmless, it's an amphetamine/cathinone so its harm profile will be probably turn out to be similar to that of speed or mdma once it has been studied in depth.
