Opioids QUICK! Will withdrawal return after methadone?

Im on day three of opiate withdrawals and its really irritating and the person I would normally get a sub from only has methadone now. I dont really know anything about methadone. He said he would sell me 20mg for x$ ( i think thats way too much), but my main question is if I took methadone, when the effects wear off will I still have opiate withdrawal?

Like, does it just cover withdrawal for the time being or what?

I need to know quick so i know whether or not to buy them or not. I dont wanna buy them if I will end up still having withdrawal after.

No prices, your not giving us enough information either. As in what you usually take, and in what amount. Odd's are if your already 3 days in you should feel better soon.

yes it will cover it for a couple days, AND on top of that if you get on methadone long term the withdrawals from methadone itself are horrible and LOOoooooooooong and drawn out more so than ANY other opiate in existence.

well the last day I did opiates I did 10 bags and a 30roxi. that was three days ago, If i take the methadone im only going to get 20mg, and i would think 10mg would be enough. I just want to know if I take 10mg today, when the effects are gone will the withdrawals i feel now from opiates come back? I dont want it just be a temporary relief.

Im feeling a lot better than yesterday , i just cant stand the not sleeping, depressive state * when im already seasonally depressed it seems *, and the coldness.

And 10-20mg for your habit will not do shit if you use a bundle+ a day. Might give you some temporary releif for like 6 hr. I mean in my world releif is worth 25 bucks but I wouldnt get releif from a small dose like that

well no i never did a bundle a day until the last day i went over the edge. I generally did like 5 or less bags a day within a 8 hours period or so. i did the bags over the entire day.

But I see that just not taking suboxone or methadone is better, but i have been taking 2mg loperamide four times between now and yesterday. It helps, but my question about that is, if its an opiod is that just going to draw out the length of withdrawal ? or is it not the same?

Honestly it never drew out the length noticeably to me. You can def load up on more than 2mg at once.

so even though loperamide is an opiod, its not the same and doesnt draw out withdrawals? I just dont wanna take this, thinking it will help, but just make it last longer in the end. But i do feel a lot better than yesterday, and im pretty sure this loperamide helps, i just dont want it to make withdrawal worse

yes it does it does the job in london depending on ur habit lets u have 4 x£ bags u will probaly need 30 2 35 mils of meth .just depends on u never take to much i find it is better 2 take 20 mils then c how u fell after 1 hour .REMEMBER u can overdose be very careful

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but even though it's some type of opiod, it doesn't pass the blood brain barrier. I don't really know how it releives withdrawals. And I do know that some people with low tolerances can even experience some high off it.

So I can't say if it will prolongue withdrawals. in my experience is has helped me through my early days of oxy withdrawal.

I honestly don't think it prolonged them at all to be honest.

If it did, I didn't mind, because it gave me significant releif.

I have not attempted to use them lately for my withdrawals since I pickedup a more serious dope habit (I was on 80mg methadone which boosted my tolerance, now I shoot 7bags to a bundle per shot..like 3-4 shots a day when I use.

I just stick with bupe now I plan whole heartedly to pcik up a FUCKLOAD of loperamide when I detox from bupe.

Well I've read about it, and it said that only MINIMAL amounts are able to pass the bbb, but if you take a massive amount and dont have an opiate tolerence, you could get high off it. So i've read. But i feel better with or without the loperamide, hope i can sleep tonight. but i feel that tonight will be the last night that i wont be able to sleep. right now i just have a depressive type mood * getting better *, little chills, very minimal to no sweat, and thats it. and possibly insomnia ill find out soon

This may be too late, but id say if you're already on day 3 man just ride it out! easier said then done, but I think done will prolong W/D(not for sure on that). You're over the hump, if i were you i'd get benzo's for sleep and you'll be good. You're on the upswing holmes. good luck.

ya if ur past day 3 i strongly advise u not go for dones... methadone is a very wierd opiate

Please do not post prices in your posts, this goes for EVERYBODY.

Yes, you will still withdraw after taking any mu opiate agonist if you are already dependent on them, unless you properly tapered off of them (even then you still will have milder WD symptoms).
