benzos
i love coffee on my klonopin, they cancel each other's negative effects such as the jitters and anxiety from the coffee are cancled out by the anxiolytic properties of the benzo from the coffee, and you don't get that "dopey" feeling from the benzos, just anxious-free euphoria
your high is probably the sedative effects, my high comes from the anxiolytic effect
i should have been more specific, i only like intermediate/long benzos on coffee because
if you dose the night before you still have some leftover and then if you dose in the morning
you won't pass out and waste drugs lol....
...plus i work and go to school and i don't want to be a zombie all day, i need something to make me seem sober... i prefer the intermediate/long-acting benzos because you can get more bang for your buck and now im fucking rambling
Beta-blockers. Propranolol. I'm a gigging musician, and whenever the show's gonna be big or for some reason I wanna eliminate all possibilities of somatic nervousness I take about 20mg of Inderal about an hour before I start playing. No shakiness, no sweating, clear head...Works great.
I don't use benzos because the amount I'd need to take care of the physical issues would make my playing sloppy. It's the same with alcohol but even worse. I enjoy about four cups of good, strong coffee before I start playing as it makes me take risks, increases confidence, sparks some energy...but I've absolutely got to avoid those shakes man. Can't do sweep arpeggios with a tremor going. Give the Inderal a try. It's even become known as the musician's underground drug for the cool reason it lets you keep your head level while calming your body down (voice doesn't constrict due to anxiety, hands don't shake, no sweats, etc.) Inderal - No More Jitters.
Caffeine is the anti-benzo. Drinking a cup of coffee works well with opiates though, and counter-acts the sedative effects of any antihistamines taken with the opiates.
I would say a mild dose of an opiate or one of the classic antihistamines would smooth out the caffeine jitters.
