There may be simular threads but I haven't found on to satisfty this question, so it's close or moved I won't be offended.

Most of my friends swear by xanax, they say it's so euphoric, and I imagine it's due to the fact it rises in your blood pretty quickly. I also understand it doesn't last too long seeing as it's a short acting bezo I think?

I have tried many formulations of said benzo and never felt any euphoria, or anything really pleasnt about it at all.

I am prescribe clonazepam, alot of people dislike on here for whatver reason, but I find it to hit much harder and it last for ever, and I do feel pleasent, wouldn't call it euphoria by any means, but it just hits me in the right way.

I guess different benzos affect different people in different ways like most any drug? I was just curious why clonazepam get's so direspected. According to web md or whatever, clonazepam is considered one of the most potent and longest lasting of most benzos.

Comments would be appriciatted. And yes, I searched alot but non of the answers seemed quite right.

Mate, do you realise how fucked up you are? Benzos are notorious for lacking a noticeable punch and instead creeping up on you without registering it. Your writing is all fucked up which hints to a too high dose of alprazolam.

Alprazolam does NOT cause direct euphoria. Any euphoria or sense of well-being is from the desinhibition caused by alprazolam which makes people do stuff they'd normally not do and hence causing a reward-like satisfaction feeling (stimulation of dopamine). For example, many people become temporary kleptomaniacs while under the influence which causes a sense of well-being due to the reward of the act.

Go back to the drawing board son, the alprazolam is certainly affecting you.

I haven't taken xanax for many months now, so I doubt it's affecting my writing. I am not seeking euphoria from any benzo. What I was trying to ask is why there are so many xanax freaks out there, not that I have any interest in that substance. I tried it several times, and I just never felt the need to repeat the experience. With clonanzepam I do. This was the only point I was going after. Mate.

Here here my friend. I'm glad to hear that. I don't understand why it's not more popular, and in the interest of harm reduction, the longer they affect you means the fewer you'd have to take. Thanks for the replies, I think El Toro misunderstood what I was going for here.

the only benzos i get "true euphoria" from is temazepam(the best), clonazepam, flunitrazepam, and triazolam.

alprazolam is overrated imo. i find even diazepam and flurazepam more recreational/euphoric.

I agree, besides clonazepam, diazepam is good stuff too. Haven't experienced the others you mentioned friend.

everybody reacts to different benzos differently when it comes to euphoric/recreational effects, but if you ever get to try temazepam(my favorite and usually regarded as the most euphoric benzo), flunitrazepam, or triazolam i'm sure you'll find them lovely and way better than alprazolam.

I enjoy xanax. The euphoria (if you can call it that) is not even remotely close to what is experienced with drugs like mdma or opiates. It does lift me up though and if anything make me feel emotionless.

I found its pretty easy to fall into a habit of taking it every day/night. Sleeping like a rock is addicting for me. I get the benzo munchies too. I just detoxed from a 6mg alprazolam/150-210mg temazepam habit-and I must say, I am glad its OVERWITH and I do not plan to start them again. The last thing I need is another addiction on top of opiates. Thankfully I nipped it in the ass before I became more dependant physically on them. The withdrawal was bad enough. If I had been on that dose for like 6 months - 1 year it would have been crippling withdrawals.

Xanax just makes me feel reall relaxed, no euphoria really...tho a couple nites ago, 1 day after i took it..i had a vivid dream...it was fukn crazyyy...sorry about my typing im drunk n i dont feel right typing sloww right noww lol

I prefer xanax to clonazapam. I dont get a rush or high from any benzo. but for anxiety xanax works much better for me than klonapin. Though klonapin is a good drug for some people like someone said above me, its much longer lasting and probably has less chance of addiction than xanax. I think most of the people who we refer to as "xanax heads" take the drug while drinking so they feel euphoric from the combo. because whenever i go to a party, everyone wants xanax no other benzo is ever mentioned.

So the general concensus is that no benzos produces direct euphoria, which was what I thought in the first place. I just seem to find clonazepam "smoother," it does the job with that sudden drop in blood levels cause it last longer. Of course, I have a high tolerance to alcohol, so I am sure that comes into play as I usually have a drink or two (not 10) when taken my kpins.

I also find that when taken with hydrocodone, it seems to prolong that high as well for some reason. Anybody know anything about cross tolernce between benzos and alcohol?

Xanax is like an eraser (if only temporary). It erases anxiety and the newfound mindset w/o anxiety is incrediebly euphoric for the person. I laugh that it's a schedule IV drug. One of the only drugs that can easily kill you from 1) too much of it 2) combo with alcohol/opiates/barbs 3) withdrawal.

i spend $40 a week on xanax easy only for the reason that no one understands where im from that there are OTHER benzo's i dont know why people dont see this anyway i also have come across temazapam and on BL it seems to be loved but personally it doesn'g give me the good time that xanax does it just makes me sleepy and a bore can anyone explain their opions on temazapam and maybe cross examine the two.
( excuse my writing i can hardly keep my eyes open on suboxone)
