Stamp collector...anyone else save stamps?

haha I have the same thing- the drawers and the paraphanelia and the used needles and stamp bags... ahhhh so funny.

And Lacey- yup the guccis were from patterson! HEre where I live [suburbs with mini cities and stuff] my boy would collect from patterson and bring it to us. Thankfully nothing was further touched... He copped big in nj and was able to bring it to us here. There were like 10 main dudes I knew who oh so kindly fed my ny home straight jersey dope, thus we never ever had to take a ride into nj. in fact there was never EVER dealers here who brought in the d from NYC unless it was a personal friend or someone bringing me High End or something.
So cuz we were gettin jersey dope we also had the fun of "which bag this time" and having a nice variety. that comes with it's positives and negatives of course!

once I got my best hook, I got one dude I have no idea where he gets his dope it's the same bag EVERYTIME! it's his brand, he'll never have a different brand. it's literally ALWAYS the same dope, same size bags, same stamp.. for years now.. it's pretty amazing how reliable. i am almost afraid to mention the stamp bag on here for comparing stamps in general because of how personal i think this stamp bag is to his service! lol!

what's the most common stamp name you all have come across? I've had three different versions of the stamp "nightmare", and I'm sure there's a few more I haven't run into yet. I've also seen multiple stamps that say "one way", with the same graphic as the street sign
 
lacey it must be different in north jersey then in camden. I would say we have "spots" and not dealers. Yes its the same set of dealers usually in one spot but i know which stamp the dealers are gonna have by which spot they are on which street. for example there could be 2 sets on street A. street A is inbetween street 1 and 2. street 1/A has dope called gorilla, and street 2/A has party city. always even if its different dealers. thats how it works in camden. im surprised to hear its different in patterson.
 
yea, you guys are on the philly model. Its totally different in north jersey. thats wat i was referring to when i was talkin about dope in NJ--sorry, i know camden is in nj but the way your dope game down there works is completely different than the rest of NJ so i always kinda group yall together with philly, you got way more in common with them as far as teh dope game goes than with us.

in paterson, newark, irvington, jersey city, elizabeth, etc the list goes on....you dont deal with spots you deal with the dealers, one spot dont have one particular stamp. Yall keep the same stamps down there for a while. you got the Ecko spot, the da Source spot, etc...Up here the stamps change everyday and lots of times they will change even over the course of one day you go in the morning the dealer got gucci you go in the afternoon he got Louis Vuitton, etc. The stamps dont correspond with a particular spot or dealer and the dealer dont really correspond to one particular spot...he will be around a certain area and usually have you meet him around a certain spot, but the spots are just locations where you will find dealers--not locations that are organized and ran by a particular group for the most part. there IS places like that, usually out of certain buildings , projects, etc....But in general it aint at all organized the way it is down there.

(In theory, since I dont use or cop no more)--Today my dealer might want me to meet him on 11th and 25th and have Batman. tomorrow he tell me to come to 10th and 28th have Suzuki. yesterday it was 12th and 24th and he had Wall Street. you feel me. It aint ever the same spot having the same stamp , there is no "wall street spot" you feel me...Its strictly a individuals game...

Also, you dont go to the spot and cop you call the dealer and he tells you where to go to. When you first go cold cop the first time you cruise around different areas til you get some numbers and try a bunch of differeny guys til you find a good dealer. then you use the number. If you go to go cop without a phone , he aint just gonna be there out on the same corner everyday. you gotta call him.

There is ALWAYS people out, im jsut sayin, if you go today and go a week from now, there is gonna be different dudes on ___ and ____ street today, than there is when you go again. you would still be able to cop, but it would be cold coppin. youll always be able to get a hookup by findin some random dealers, but they aint gonna be the same dealers that would be there tomorrow, they aint there day in day out. You just catch whose there at the time.

When you get a number you deal with the dealer-not the spot or the stamp.

its way better to have numbrs too so they can tell you if its too hot to come thru or not. I would never go cop without callin my dude ahead of time, unless i was suuuuuper desperate and had nothing to lose and didnt mind cold coppin. Its easy as hell but its the boys in blue u gotta worry about. paterson always been a hot little city.

how do you Jersey heads get rigs? from my understanding, you can't buy them at the pharmacy...
 
i save stamps , i put them in my drawer and then lick them when i have to send someone something. i dont lick both sides thouggh
 
I mean when I was HOOKED on shooting heroin multiple times a day I would have like a drawer full of foils, and needles... but when im chipping. FUCK NO.
 
I've never saved any... always scraped and flushed.

I woulda kept the MJ one too... cool stuff.

yeah, i still have all of them in a little box, every stamp I've every done. of course usually i get tar, which doesnt come stamped, so there's a lot less than is representative to my lifelong consumptoion.
 
There are memories with those fuckers. I lived in Pittsburgh the majority of my "career"
Fuck saving them. I've been slapped on the wrist enough not too.
I had bags called "death sucks" in 08 that were way too potent they had a tombstone on them. I fell out 2 out of 3 times from 1 bag on a usually 5 or 6 bag habit.
We got a lot of those jersey ones.
Its been to long of a run to go through all of them but the early 2000s honeymooners, rockafellas, OG platinums stick in my mind. Double sealed, consistent... The knockoffs used to piss me off. It did used to be cool back in the day.
When you're locked in a serious habit, i've been up to 50 a day, its too much to save.
 
I have taken pictures of my stamps but that's about it. I won't keep any of the actual bags because Im paranoid as hell and its just not a good idea in my opinion. I won't even throw my stamps away in my own trash. Gas stations, random trash cans, threw some out at a playground before (fucked up but I did).... really all sorts of places. I just won't keep them for more than a couple of days.
 
Oh hell yeah I save my stamps... some of the stamps we get are lame, and so we don't save all of them, buttttt....
