Taking LSD at raves

So I'm going to a rave soon, I usually take ecstasy but I'm thinking about taking acid and pills at this one. I've never taken acid before, so I'm worried about having a bad trip because it is a public place. I love the music, so when I get in it should be okay, but when I'm not in the moshpit I usually worry a lot about being caught with drugs. I've had some bad experiences with police searches at raves in the past, luckily they didn't find anything thanks to my amazing hiding spot, but I've had some really close calls. I've been on pills for all of those searches so I stayed calm throughout the whole time but if that happens while I'm on acid I swear I'll start screaming and take my clothes off or something.
When I smoke weed, I'm almost always calm and I've never experienced any real paranoia with that.
So would you say that a rave is a bad place for your first acid trip? And how long should I wait after taking acid before I take pills?

In all seriousness acid is a very strong and unpredictable drug. I strongly advise no I beg of you dont do acid in a public setting for your first time, especially one as over whelming as a rave. Get a few trips under your belt the start throwing yourself in crazy situations thats when its fun. For your first time though it would probably be too much and youd want to leave.

if you do take acid take half a tab or some other equivalent SMALL dose with a decent amount of mdma. i have tripped on acid (on its own) at a rave and it was amazing, but i had done it indoors before that. also you dont want to come down from mdma while still tripping so take that into account. dont smoke weed with the acid unless you want high level confusion and mental overload.

Your first time on LSD should be in a calm and controlled environment to see how you handle it.
Sure people have tried it for their first time at rave and had a good time, but i still wouldn't suggest it.

Please save the LSD and do it in a calm and controlled environment

Oooh and how you react on weed tells more or less nothing how you will react too LSD.

If you're unsure or having some doubts - give it a pass and plan a little trip session for home one day to get you familiar with the workings of LSD

Although, the first time I had acid was at a rave. I had one sugar cube. But because I didn't understand the dosage of LSD at the time, I though 'one' wasn't enough. At the time, I was heavily into ecstasy, and figured I'd use the same 'cookie monster' logic. So I ate 3 more cubes and 2 crudely made tabs.

I had the best time of my life. You know how there's always ONE trip that sounds out above the rest? This was it.

For a first time I handled it pretty well, I was so taken back by how ridiculously fun it was that I didn't even have time to have a bad trip.

I had tripped four times in calm environments before taking acid at a rave. Like everyone here has said, it's not a good idea for your first time.

I would get a little more experienced with L before you drop at a rave. Sometimes L can be very very overwhelming in a public place, never mind a gigantic rave with thousands of people.

If you start to fall into a bad trip, it will be difficult to pull your self out with the over whelming amount of people.

Nobody doesn't love lucy, and its awesome at raves. Do it in your house before you go to a rave though. Theres always already too many kids that don't know what they're getting into and do amounts/types of drugs they aren't comfortable with and wind up sitting around all sad or making a scene and getting it shut down and shit.

I would say a rave isn't a bad place to take some acid... even if it is your first time. It depends on the dose as well, I'd keep it low if you are planning to do it. Also take it 2-4 hours before you go to the rave that way you already peaked and have a real chill time... coming up on acid for the first time at a rave might be a little intense.

I think once you get past the overwhelming come-up of a candyflip you will be fine, but honestly.. that come-up WILL make or break your time at the rave.
