Benzodiazepines such as Klonopin don't really provide an "escape" from reality. I suppose if you take an ungodly amount of them you'll be out of reality for at least a while, but so much in a good way, at least in my opinion.
Benzos work on your GABA receptors, and are great for anxiety, muscle relaxation, sedation, and so on. If you are truly wanting to escape from reality, perhaps try a different class of drugs. Hallucinogens are great for the experience and insight they are capable of providing; there are literally thousands of Phenylethylamines and Tryptamines, thanks to Alexander Shulgin, which can provide many different temporary paths away from reality. These drugs should be treated with respect though, and are not for everyone, so do your research before you consider taking anything new.
If you just want to get high, smoke some weed. Have a few drinks and pop a Klonopin. I'm not going to tell you where to go from there if those substances aren't cutting it. If you are set on finding out, I suppose you'll find your way there eventually.
Don't abuse Benzos though, seriously. It is the worst class of drugs to play around with and end up addicted to, maybe with the exception of Barbiturates.
