can i eyeball 4-ho-met?

i have 4-ho-met, but only a .1g scale so that's useless.

i have a desire to try it out tonight though. is there a way for me to eyeball without risking it being too high? if so, how? can someone post a pic for comparison?
 
ok, but good enough to ensure i don't go over a certain amount. lets say i want to do in between 10 and 20, or something ike that..?
 
No you cannot. Measure out ~200mg using the 0.1g scale and take 1/20th of it via liquid measurement. Assuming your scale measured 150mg-250mg as 200mg - you final dose would be between 7.5mg to 12.5mg. Accuracy will be better with higher initial amounts.
 
well my baggy has 250mg. i think i'll just now visually split it up into 16 parts, and take slightly less than my estimated 1/16th.
 
You probably don't know for sure that it has 250mg. Sometimes, vendors are off by as much as 50%.
Also, please don't visually split it up into 16 parts. Just dissolve it in say 8ml of water and use 0.5ml.
 
Split it up even smaller and start with an even smaller amount than you think will do anything. I've always found 4-ho-met to be a bit surprising even at low doses.

You can always take more once you've started, but you can't take less.

You should also always keep in mind you might have a mislabelled chem. If you do start experiencing anything unusual, its easier to calm yourself if you know you've got a reasonable dose.

Make sure you know what time you dosed - 4-ho-met is a creeper, give it a 45 minutes to an hour to see if its working, before taking any more.

While I personally guess that 4-HO-MET is a pretty safe substance (read about a 234 mg accidental overdose 234 mg on this forum, and I think about another 150 mg experience) and I never had any problems with it (okay, I only tried it 4 times anyway, but would do it any time again), I agree that you should probably stick to liquid measuring. As well, you should make sure whether you have the HCl salt or the Fumarates. I've seen the Fumarates more frequently, but supposedly the HCl is out there, too, and it requires a somewhat lower dosage.
 
well, i took somewhat less than 1/16th 30 min ago. does it makes sense to redose if i don't feel much, as far as tolerance is concerned?
 
You can redose if it has only been 30mins although it wont been as effective as taking the combined dose at once.
I really don't get why people find it OK to ingest random amounts of these potent drugs though.

No. That is impossible. A pic is useless because powders are different densities and even the same batch of powder will have some areas more condensed/hydrated/aerated than others.

Please don't encourage people to eyeball. There's no accurate way to go about it and telling someone to ingest a random amount of some chemical is the opposite of harm reduction.

Please anyone else who reads this, don't do this. Its an easy way to make yourself miserable & possibly end up in the hospital or worse. At best it doesn't provide any reliable info to the community b/c there's know way to know what dose you took & it may encourage someone else to do this and potentially fuck up big time.

I hope this works out alright for you, but it was a stupid thing to do. Especially just to save $30 or to avoid 15min of reading in the liquid measurement thread. Seriously, why not buy a cheap mg scale or .01g scale & do liquid measurement? Its insanely cheap & easy. If you can afford 250mg of a rare exotic chemical, you can at least do one of the aforementioned things.
