Took methadone last night, went to bed and woke up throwing up... safe to take norco?

OK so yesterday i spaced out 50 mg (five 10 mg pills) in a matter of 6 hours i took them all through out thr dsy then today in the orning i woke up and starting vomiting but now i feel better than did this morning...any clue why i might've been throwing up after a day of methadone? also is it safe to now take my hydrocodones because? because i heard that methadone messes with the effect of hydrocodone in your systen...any response is appreciated... thanks

Well, with no info. as to your tolerance, I would guess you took too damn much. Are you used to taking that much 'done?

I WOULD NOT take any other opiate TODAY. Methadone hangs around a long time, and its still in your system.
Be very careful with that shit!

^ I agree, it's not safe to take another opiate with methadone still in your system and which made you puke: it's a sign that you took too much methadone. Wait a few days for the methadone to leave your body entirely.
 
Also, in your thread yesterday, it was suggested that you take 10-15mg of the Methadone.
It does sound like you are new to 'done, and maybe opiates in general.

Why in the world would you go and take 50mg? Do you think we are all full of shit, and just guessing at what we say.

Don't mean to be chewing on your ass, but Methadone is no joke.
It took one of my friends and about got me.
Maybe be a bit more careful.

no worries buddy i understand...im not new to opiates just new to methadone..so you wouldnt even recommend me taking 30mg hydrocodone today? because i've been taking hydrocodone about daily for the last month..thanks

No, I just wouldn't take ANYTHING TODAY.
You see, Methadone has a half-life of 22-24 hrs. But even this can vary widely among individuals.

So, if you just puked this morning, it is far to close to be taking anything else, IMO.

You see, thats the problem with Methadone, often a person don't feel that "high" and continues to take more and more. It's a really hard drug to gauge, especially if your new to it.
So take it slow, and be careful.

sorry to bug ya lol yea i'm going to wait a 24 hours before taking anything, 24 hours should be a safe wait? or do you think i should wait more than 24 hrs?
 
I'm curious as to what your normal opiate tolerance is, if you took 50 mg of methadone and all it did to you was make you throw up this morning, cause thats quite a bit possibly a fatal amount to someone without a huge opiate tolerance

I would wait 48 hours or more. As others have said, you took a large dose of a drug with a long half life. (I'm going to go out on a limb here: you took the first one and didn't feel anything after a couple hours, so you started gobbling more... then woke up whacked when all that 'done caught up with you). And people aren't lying to you here when they say that you could die from the dose you took. Ask Anna Nicole Smith and her son about methadone some time when you're playing with a Ouija board.

my tolerance is high to opiates especially hydrocodone i use at least 150mg hydrocodone daily

Are you SURE it was methadone man? It will most def make you sick if you have no tolerance dude. QUIT USING METHADONE FOR A BUZZ. ITS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN DETOX, AND ARE IN RECOVERY NOT FOR GETTING ANY KIND OF HIGH WHATSOEVER!!!!!! I'm so sick of reading things like this. Do not take any more opiates. Thats in your system for 2 more days if you had no tolerance. YOU BASICALLY ALMOST DIED FOOL!!!!:|:|:|:|:|:|

10mg is enough to kill some non-tolerant individuals...
 
damn, so whats the worst that can happen if i took lets say 30mg hydrocodoone today? i have a decent tolerance for hydrocodone i have been taking it for a while

That is a lot... I hope you're doing a CWE first of all. Methadone, as has been pointed out, is much stronger than hydrocodone, and this is why you got sick this morning.

Since you took the methadone throughout the day, the early doses will wear off sooner than the later ones. If you end up taking hydrocodone later, just make sure to remember that you still have methadone in your system and that it will take less to get the same effects as it usually did. To play it safe, I'd wait, but if you decide not to, be sure to dose small.
