Watching the birds at the bird feeder i hung up. Its like a mcdonalds drive thru out there. With a coffee and a spliff it's almost as good as goldfish for a trance inducing state. I feel sorry for the robin though, he cant use it so hes hopping up at down on the fence in rage.

I got a job interview snoo. Except it's not until January, for a place that's opening in March. But I can temp until then. I really should check my email more, they sent me the offer on Friday!

I was shortlisted out of 400 applicants! Go me!

ive been working on a contract in the (i.t) department i work in for the last year

contract is up next week and i have been trying desperately since august to find a new job or get something lined up, fuckin economy is shite so its a disaster.. too many applicants and not enough jobs, last month i had a telephone interview for a new better job and i got to the second stage for face to face interview. did that and it went well but they still had another 2 weeks of interviews to complete before making a decision. got a call today to say that they want me.. i am delighted and so relieved that just in the nick of time i have a new job. was so close to unemployment. im well proud of myself for puttin in to work and getting somewhere. persistence and dedication pays off i guess. things are looking better for me by the day, i just hope my new work mates will like me! :)

That must have been quite a sight - how far out was it? any pics?

I think i heard something about the gov getting rid of all our aircraft carriers. The Falklands are shitting their pants. I just checked - the Ark Royals on its farewell tour.

anyway, it was right outside in the water. it must have came down the river Clyde from Faslane.

it did a couple of figure of 8s and helicopters were taking off and landing. i hoped they were going to take it to the next level and blow the Arran ferry out of the water for a laugh, but they didn't. ;)
