What to expect with methamphetamine

Basically I'm wondering, in a nut shell, what the effects of meth produces, initially. I've never done meth in my life, but i take adderall, and have been taking a rather large prescribed dose for about 4 months.

I've asked friends that have done it, and they shun on the fact that i've even brought it up, so i expect a lot of people telling me how horrible it is, but ive sort of blocked a lot of that out because i dont even know the upside to it, thus i cant weigh my options.

I've heard it's a lot like adderall. Which would be awesome because i really do enjoy that.

ANY enlightenment on the issue would be great! Like i said, everyone i know gets morbid and vague when i attempt to discuss it with them.

And for me personally, its depended on the time ive done it... sometimes ive been really mellow, almost noding out on it, but wide awake, and others I've been really focused, talkative, euphoric... Its not my first DOC, but i've never minded doingit once in awhile, tho ive never like staying up for days on end like some people, i like to do it and fall asleep the ext day, inthe early morning...

I have no idea about any of that really. I love uppers, i hate sleeping and can't stand benzodiazipines, so i assume it would be good for me with that in mind.

I think i would rather smoke it than anything. I've never snorted anything in my life, nor injected. I never thought about just ingesting it. Seems like that would be too straight edge for meth haha.

I'm also clueless on the dosage. I don't even have a general idea on what would be a good first dose. I suppose I'd end up asking the person i get it from what he/she recommended.

There is no upside to meth, other than it get's you high as shit. It is a highly neurotoxic drug and addiction is almost inevitable. If you enjoy adderall, I would just stick to that. It is the lesser of the two evils.

I agree completely, but all amphetamines are neurotoxic...
I would go with snorting it or smoking, although if it's your first time, smoking can be tricky. Also, i dont know how much you will get, but I've always found just $20 worth good for a fun night... In fact, I wouldnt spend more than $20, just throw it all in a pipe, take a huge rip, and you'll feel it instantly... from there, just take hits when it pleases you, honestly

Be carefull with this shit. It might be interesting, but I would never go behind 1 hit / 1-2 months. It can induce very nasty mental problems (paranoia, ...). It is very psychically addictive. It may cost you a fortune.
You can expect hell if you do not handle it.

Had first hand experience with that, nasty paranoia and mental fuckedupness for a long time after not using, even when not using a lot... I'd do it like once a month for half a year and for a few months after, felt like my mind was constantly betraying me

Yes, it can be very very bad. All reality can turn into one big nightmare. After all I can say part of it was interesting, but the price was far too high.
Need to say - my experience is based on per-month usage.

Hmmm. The part that got me was the nightmare thing. Seems like a panic attack or something.

I overdosed on "Ecstasy" when i was 18, 3 times. I'm convinced my dealer was giving me meth bombs. Literally 6 months of my life disappeared because of these 'pills' i was getting. All i could think about as I was in the hospital bed was where the fuck my cell phone was so i could have him deliver some to the hospital.

On the other hand i don't think it was meth pills because i had all the hallucinogenic and euphoria that comes with mdma.

I just love stimulants, and can't (obviously) get back to the euphoric heaven the first time i took 2 30mg adderall.

I was not speaking just about immediate effects caused few hours after usage. It might affect reality quite long time afterwards. Might be month or even longer, depends how long and often it has been taken.

To be fair, there has been o lot of nice with meth. Euphoria, quite strong hallucinations on higher repeated doses. The hallucinations were very real and they could be very nice when they didn't come along with the paranoia. The communication was also incredible - again if not part of paranoia But as I said - the price was too high

Does it cause less high blood pressure than Adderall or Dexedrine, at least at prescription doses? Is it really better for focusing as some have claimed? Does it cause more insomnia since it is longer-acting?

I was not measuring the blood presure, but it definately can be used for better focusing (I would never do though). Short-term Insomnia is very likely.

Not because of the way meth works on the brain.

And OP if your looking for a stimulant don't use meth .
Use amphetamines if you must (adderall , dexdrine , etc)

when i smoke it i get really focused on what im doing weather it be playing ps3 or mowing the lawn.when i smoke it i cant sit in 1 spot for more than a miniut same if i inject it.
i personally perfer smoking it its a much diffrent high

It just messes with your overall mental stability, at least in my case...
I'm sure it didnt help that i smoke pot all the time, used to love smoking sum meth and then a little herb...
I had a friend quit smoking pot for around a year because after our lil few month binge, the pot was casuing him panic attacks and severe anxiety..
He smokes now, and is fine, but it all depends on the user too. I'm sure some people dont ever experience these symptoms

I thought it was pretty boring. Boyfriend didn't like it at all. He didn't sleep well for 2 days and then totally crashed. I took my bipolar meds and eventually passed out a few hours after the sun came up.

I'm not really one of those people who really likes to be awake for a long time. I never know what to do. I guess I could try cleaning, lol. Maybe we got some bad stuff, I dunno.
...At least I didn't pay for it right?

I remember my first hits with meth. I remember if anyone asked me about how are it's effects, I just said that it is doing almost nothing (compared to shrooms & LSD that I had known), but once it finishes, you have to take more. In fact I didn't understand how that was possible but that was the fact. It could be called boring. Interesting things started to happen later on, after few experiences and with higher doses.

Yeah like i mentioned, I get prescribed 120 adderall a month. The tolerance is just bullshit and i can't get to the 'brain sex' feeling of greatness like the first time I've done it. Although, I've only taken 40mg at one time (one dose, not in a day) I'd like to shoot for 60mg at one time and see how that is, but sometimes I'm a pussy about that. Plus i don't too much care for the lack of sexual arousal that adderall gives you
