:D It's so funny in a way. The only reason that they got bought out by ESPN was because it was growing so huge and so popular. But in trying to monopolize internet sports coverage ESPN lost the audience. Dyestat was popular because it wasn't ESPN.
Oh dude, don't even get me started! That was...I'm still pissed about this, possibly because I'm just getting clean and it's harder for me to let things go when I'm using, but WTF ESPN?!
I still do NOT understand the move at all! ESPN should have done whatever to maintain the site as was, but just perhaps change the site name (like it's currently set up when you type in dyestat). I checked RISE out a few weeks ago, since I'm so out touch with HS elites now, and it was still shitty. I mean, I could get results off the homepage and there was some discussion, but nowhere near the level of dyestat. Plus the site was still pathetic.
It was disheartening seeing so few posts in the New England area board since seeing people talk about my conference was what initially attracted me to the boards.
A giant loss to the running world, especially at the HS level, and RISE certainly isn't getting the number of visitors that dyestat was.
Grrr
*Rant over*
I'm getting all riled up, I got to clear my PM box to PM you.
Anyways toked a few bowls with a friend and ate some delicious seafood newberg that I got leftover from work. It's basically a cream sauce with scallops, swordfish, shrimp, lobster, and crab meat. Basically it's awesomeness in a bowl. Like Captain Planet type stuff...with their powers combined....!

I imagine it's something that Mermaids and Sea People must eat quite often, but us land folk are rarely so lucky.
