First time IV'ing- Also on other substances

Well, I woke up this morning at 7:30AM to bottlefeed my baby pitpull puppy, and ate 10mg Methadone, and 2mg Alprazolam. (Probably injested at 8AM to be specific), at about 9AM I ate another 2mg Alprazolam, and 10mg Methadone, and then another 2mg about two hours ago. (It's 3:35PM right now).
I took 40mg Methadone yesterday also, if that factors in.
Anyways, around 10:30-11pm tonight I'm going to do my first IV dose (planning to, at least) of Hydromorphone.
Now, with these substances running through my body, would I be safe to do this? I've never IV'd anything, but I've given up caring about a lot of things and figured now's the time to do this.
I'm going to start with 2mg, how does that sound for a first single dose? I'm very opiate/oid tolerant so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. (even though I'm still nodding out from the done and xanax combo).

Also, is there a link to a 'proper' IV guide on this site. I trust no one but myself to do the deed. (Unless my friends are undercover nurses, which, I highly doubt) :p
Anyways, save the lectures, I know it's a bad path, but like I said, I don't care anymore. Any imput is much obliged!
 
I've decided to wait it out and do it when the Methadone is out of my system. I do, however, plan on mixing 2mg of Alprazolam with my first shot (Oral, of course). If my tolerance is an OP80 has me feeling amazingggg, Hydrocodone is like candy, 100+mg I'm good, 150 for where I want to be. Opana 20mg (Insufflated) has me nodding tits. How much round bout should I start with? Never have I IV'd.
 
With your tolerance, I would start with 4mg and go from there. The 4mg should provide you with an intense rush, but the high wears off very quickly. You would probably even be fine with 8mg, That's what I would do personally (that was the amount I shot my first time and had a similar tolerance).

Your very first time IV'ing was 8mg of Hydromorphone?

Well, technically it was 2mg of hydromorphone, but that was in the hospital and I had a lower tolerance at the time. My tolerance when I shot up the 8mg was about 120-160mg of oxy a day, and don't get me wrong, I was blasted.
 
I'd say 4 mgs. I did 8 the other day, and my tolerance is quite a bit lower than yours, but for first time IV that should be plenty. Definately wait until the methadone wears off.

If you have sterile injectable vials and make use a new needle and also wipe the area down with an alcohol pad before hand, than yes, it is pretty safe. But of course not to many people have access to vials of their DOC, unfortunately.
 
Can someone provide insight, or link me to somewhere on how to properly IV, and the precautions I need to take? I have amazing veins, they stick out above my elbow spot, wouldn't technically need to tie off (that's how visible) even though I will. I want to do it myself, because I trust myself to do it, not a friend who's never IV'd either, but claims to know how..
