So... Why do you smoke pot?

because it is an enjoyable passtime,
and the social side of it is just a plus,
 
calms me down
curse bordom
makes me happy
helps with deppresion
helps with stomach pain - like i got ibs-
brings ppl together
keeps me from doing harder drugs , like when im high i dont wanna risk other drugs or alcohol

Of course I went to high school, but we never got into fights over weed. This was 1968-1972. Hipsters were non-violent.
If you guys ripped each other apart over weed, WTF did you do when drunk? Toss hand-grenades? =D
 
To keep my sanity in check
To help me sleep
To relax from a long day
To enjoy the company of others
To reflect on important issues in my life
To bring out the beauty in the little things I take for granted
To feed the craving to get high that would otherwise be off of other, harmful substances
To lift my spirits when life gets rough

sooooo many reason, and they have changed over the years

its routine
why not?
music
food
calms me down
to escape
to forget
to remember
to help me sleep
 
I smoke pot because even though it causes anxiety (which I'm finally starting to get over! :D) the positives still outweigh the negatives.

I love being high. Literally EVERYTHING is just... better. If I'm angry, I smoke. Poof, no more angry. If I'm sad, I smoke. Poof! No more sad. Even if I'm HAPPY, I smoke. POOF! Even happier. It relieves stress, it relieves pain. It teaches me to be introspective and comfortable with who I am and where I'm going in life.

And honestly, the world is just a brighter, happier place when I'm high. Food is suddenly gourmet. Colors are more vivid. Music is better. Women are more beautiful.

I can do anything, I can go anywhere my mind wants to take me. I smoke, because I love good old Mary Jane. She has never steered me wrong.

...And if she does, I'll just smoke until I can't stay mad at her anymore! It's perfect!

I like it cos it gives me that nice fuzzy feeling, kind of like the soup adverts hug in a mug feeling. also helps for going to sleep at night.
but one of the main reasons is so I can get major munchies and use up whats left in my fridge.

& I love this post!! This basically sums up the ability weed has over any other substance. Nobody could say this about booze or cigs, yet those are perfectly legal to buy & imbibe.
The Drug War will never end, as people will get their weed 1 way or another. Same way the Prohibition Act of 1919 didn't stop people from drinking. It just made big $$$ for Organized Crime.
When will society realize that weed [exclusively] has never killed 1 person? Yet tobacco & alcohol murder hundreds of thousands of people yearly. The reasoning is beyond my comprehension.:X:p:!:?
 
it just makes everything better to me, I enjoy the interesting thoughts it gives me, and it just makes everything OK. kinda like a weak opiate to me actually. but i like nothing more than to just smoke a joint then go pig out and play some CoD. :)

actually, i can say that about alcohol. i don't often drink to get totally shitfaced, but catch a little buzz, and i can perfectly agree with that post
