☮ Social ☮ PD Social: swirling into homeostasis

Sigh... so after being present and having to deal with the second full scale psychedelic freakout I've been witness too (Nudity, running, cops, the whole bit), I talked to my parents about their psychedelic experiences. Although they had friends with difficult trips, they don't seem to have my propensity for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. One was clearly an issue of too high a dose, the other was a fellow I didn't know very well with some apparent childhood trauma. I know I'm not responsible for their choices, and in general I don't blame myself, I still feel like there's more I could have done in the intervening stages. Once they were delirious and confused maybe I could have done something differently to help them ride it out. I don't know, you can't trip for someone else...

Not sure what I'm getting at, but I wanted to share the thought.

Hi everyone.

This kid's art is pretty awesome.

lol. Just busting yer chops! Here, please accept this as definitive proof that there is a psychedelic Renaissance going on. Please watch and then you will see how little graphs mean in this argument! :p

Heh heh. I take that as definitive proof that the swivel chair is underutilized in dance worship. Whirling Dervishes: take a cue from Reverend Alicia and enswivelate your dizzy asses.

Oooo just found out that Shpongle/Younger Brother are doing a concert in London next week, only £15 I think I'll def be going to that :)

Hey, anyone have any ideas for ways to legitimately make some extra money considering I already have a full-time job? I need some extra money for the holidays and I'm not quite sure how to get it, and I thought people here might have ideas. :)

A lot of the stress I've been feeling lately has been due to money concerns... how predictable. :p I've been feel very good the past few days now and I'm looking to be more proactive about it rather than just worrying endlessly.

Yeah, weird and fascinating. :) It never really makes sense but it does get more meaningful.

By the way, you guys may notice your post counts went back up. I re-approved all of the old PD social threads, and they'll be pruned (except this one and the last one) during the prune, which will leave post counts unaffected. :)

Considering you already have a full time job makes it kinda tricky. You can try posting ads for doing odd-jobs in the area.

Grass cutting/snow removal/preparing firewood were staples of under the table cash for me when I was younger. It's a lot of work for little money but you did say 'legitimate'. ;)

They sort of require you live in the country with the equipment to perform the jobs of course.

yea it looks liek in canada or california people cut special grass all day for money
if you get mah drift.
