Potential Medicinal Uses for Mephedrone?

Since mephedrone is mostly untested and the experimentations done with it have been mostly in uncontrolled recreational settings I'm curious as to if anyone thinks Mephedrone could have some therapeutic properties?

Leaving behind all pre-conceived notions of the stigma attached to Mephedrone, and it was considered a "medicine" and not a drug, what could it be used for?

Could it possibly be used as a once-a-day medium dose range in the morning to add a shift in positive momentum to the day in place of depression or fatigue?

Could it be used similarly as MDMA was used pre-ban in sparingly controlled therapy sessions to get patients to open up more, share their issue more honestly with themselves and the therapist, and have a long-lasting shift in perception?

This is assuming we're living in some alternate world where people don't have compulsions they can't handle (such as re-dosing), aren't "wasting" their time on it doing unproductive/hedonistic activities, and don't feel the need to do it any more excessively than prescribed.

I do not believe it would be used in medicine.

Read about the side effects, and the subjective reports of ex-users of the substance. There's nothing similar to this in responsible use of MDMA or MDA.

It seems to me most side effects come from the users abusing the chemical, dosing repeatedly and addictively.. a single controlled dose in my experience and seems most others produces little to no side effects.

Well the fact is that we do live in a world where people do have compulsions that they can't handle. I see absolutely no medicinal value from mephedrone. Not only that, but there is still not much known about it, and is believed to be rather neurotoxic.

Not only is it believed to be neurotoxic, but shit is super abrasive to one's nose, causes nasty teeth grinding, and elevated heart rate. I know this all first hand. I suppose its medicinal uses could include, being a precursor for heart medication, a few trips to the dentist to get your smile fixed, and rhinoplasty for the inevetable fucked up septum. So yeah, Def some great uses ;)

I am not gonna lie, It IS fun, and pretty cheap, but medicinal uses? LOL....

edit*even a single dose DOES produce "side effects", out of 4 people 2 had teeth grinding, 3 had elevated heart rate, and one had a nasty headache.. all reported sinus burning. If you are looking for justification for using it, just be honest, and uhhh say you like getting high. "mood elevator" LOL*
