Safeways makin ya use id now in canada

ya so i went out on my weekly run for t1s and safeways which was the best before never asking questions or anything.
Well now there asking questions and taking ID and only allowing 100 t1s per month now.and being its on the computer now ya cant even go to another store if ya get a batch.
Kinda screws with my typical program damnit.
Cant wait for the call from the methadone clinic now i just wanna be off freekin T3s and T1s i hate haven to eat 60 to 100 pills a day to fend off pain....
All because i have a doctor that dont give a shit about my pain...
Anyway ya so f safeways lol....
 
Couldn't you just go to a different brand store and get some? Worst case is you could always have some other people buy them.

I'm sure they arn't the only store selling them
 
How old are you?

How reasonably well-dressed are you?

There is no law that makes them do this. Whatever they're telling you is completely arbitrary and isn't legally-based - that said they are allowed to refuse you a behind-the-counter drug if they judge it a medical danger to you. If you are a kid or you look like a junkie, that might be reason enough.

Also, try not to ask for "T1s" because that's a street name. Try something like "Tylenol with Codeine" or "Generic Tylenol #1".
 
nooooooo ive been buyin T1s for years its just a new policy that they have starting today.
They know me very well and yes i get them from pretty much every store in this city.
There over the counter here.
has nuthin to do with how im dressed and im 43 its just a new policy.
pretty much every store asks for id or even signatures in canada.there is only a couple stores left that dont ask questions .
Its just the way it goes in canada.
No biggy was just informing the other candians because safeway was like one of the last stores that didnt ask questions and so now they do .
and yes i dress nice and wear all my gold and stuff and even shave before heading to the pharmacies..
 
no i used to do CWE but gave it up and just eat the buggers even though i know its killin my liver.
as for wall greens we dont even have one im not even sure if there in canada.
I still use the same pharmacies .like i said they almost all ask for id or a signature anyway.
Its just that safeways was one of the last pharmacies in canada that didnt bug ya with ID or signatures and didnt mind if ya came every ten days or so,now ya gotta wait a month to get a hundred.just a inconvinience.i still have my other pharmacies
 
at least you can get T1's OTC, were i live it's a controlled substance.

if you're really in pain, tell your current doc to go fuck himself and find a doc that will give you a proper painkiller.

or you can get a friend to get them for you, or a few friends. just give them the money and they'll go in and get more for you. when i was in high school i'd have older friends buy me cigarettes and booze.

You should really do a CWE if you are taking 60-100 pills a day.

Well, I'm Canadian and have been buying AC&C for the past 2 years at least once a week. I think I know what I'm talking about ;).

The ID thing is NOT canada-wide.

I've heard of it being done in Newfoundland. Apparently now Manitoba too.

Try a walmart pharmacy. They tend to have very lax standards.

ya i wasnt sure if it was across the board in canada,but yes this is in manitoba .
I may be heading to winnipeg tomorrow so i will check it out .
But it sux that the 2 safeways here ask now.
But i have several places i go and get my stuff.
And to the one that said to get a better script from my doc i agree i get 60 T3s a month from him when back in the peg i was able to get almost anything i wanted from my doc that was very kewl.He knew all the injuries and pain i suffer from and i was getting 60 i week and was about to switch to straight codiene then i moved here for a chick which i no longer see(very stupid choice)
I had it made with my shrink and doctor in winnipeg.
But i must say my shrink here is kewl but my doctor sux .
I am curently going to look for a new one that understands more and has a bit of sympathy towards the pain i endure everyday...
OH! and believe it or not wallmart doesnt sell them anymore here in brandon.but like i said i go to many so its no big deal.
Theres alot of mom and pop places and zellers etc......
Damn fergot about the CWE yes i will be doing it again since i use so much im just waiting to get to the ex gf place so i can get the coffee grinder then ill start the CWE again....
 
I get the 200 tab AC&C's in Ontario. Half the time the pharmacist asks if I've had them before and the other half they comment on the weather. Definitely no signing or IDing.

Also OP if you aren't doing the CWE at the very least get off the Acetaminophen and switch to Aspirin or even Ibuprofen as the secondary ingredient. But honestly it's not hard to put the pills in an ounce of water and pour them through a coffee filter.

this! i get a bunch of snobby pharmacist at various places and they keep the price really high on it to discourage abuse, some will have 100% markups and give you attitude even if you ask the for the price.

then there are the other places where even if you buy a 200 tab bottle every week or month and they're very nice about it.
 
^Actually I meant they are always nice and when they say "Have you had it before?" They are just making sure I know what I am getting and have never hassled me. I'm clean cut and sophisticated but seriously it's not a big deal. I mean they're just two-twenty-two's jeez. Why would you take anything else for a headache?
 
Have u tried shoppers drug mart , rexalls, i mean common now u live in manitoba of all places , i cant believe they would make ID u and all , here in ontario we never have that my sugesstion is to look around someomore , zellers has pharmacies as well u know ;)
