Ritalin/Methylphenidate insufflated q's

Hey guys,

I'm prescribed IR ritalin 30mgs a day(10x3) and have found snorting it to be very, very fiendish substance without a high to match (tolerance builds very very quick imo?) at doses ive been doing imo - 80mg a day ish when abusing it....I'm pretty sure I do actually have ADHD so I dont plan on having fun for long...as i know it will totally ruin it as a med.

I'd like to know ideally how long should you leave ritalin in your nose and membranes as I gather its quite corrosive.

If your going to do a line of ritalin 30 to 60 mins after railing 20-40mg say should you clear out your nose, blow it or just shove it up there with the rest of the powder?

When do you start snorting or swallowing the drip?? I try to wait at least 5 minutes after inhaling sharply through each nostril as i feel otherwise its hitting my stomach, so I try get that awful shit up there a while.

Whats a good doseage in one go to minmick a good coke high also? max ive tried is 60mg at once insufflated but it was quite a diff exp.

I would recommend using a saline nasal spray to clear the nostrils in between doses. you can get one real cheap at any pharmacy.

5 mins seems good to me.

methylphenidate probably is not going to feel like coke at any dosage. I guess it kinda feels like very low quality cocaine that has been heavily cut. Simply put, methylphenidate isn't euphoric for me. Which is strange because I fiend like a mofo on it, it is like coke in that regard.

sounds about right. The "high" lasts less than an hour, though stimulation can be felt for 2 hours when snorted. 4 hours seems about right on for oral use. I actually think the less abrupt rise and fall of the effects of oral use is more worthwhile than trying to chase a non existant high by snorting. It is much less potent orally though, at least 2x IMO.

You pretty much said everything I thought I knew so thanks for your input mate, the quoted part is EXACTLY how i feel whilst on it. Not euphoric but clearing stimulating and relieves boredom.
It can make me go on rampant browsing/dling for music /pr0n/films and horde them up like a squirrel without ever watching anything high.

how would you people describe the comedown and what dose takes care of any wds relative to your habit?

I read 40-60 mg was a high insufflated dose but to me with only 2 weeks tolerance on lower dose [10 mg for 2 weeks 20 mg 1 week]and even days off 60 seemed just "clear" to me.

bumq...Another question I have is how long/wide do you make your ritalin lines? Whats the max you'd snort at once?

I must say that just about any dose can be bad..

I myself, stupidly, abuse this for many days witouth sleep, eat... Been at times where I seriously thought my heart would fail in any minute.. Been told in hospital my heart would stop.. then race..
I had severe infections cos of this.. One where I couldn't even drink. I am tolerent to pain but this was unbearable.. I had to keep moving, twitching, make noises to just bear the pain.. I had to stay 2 days in hospital getting antibiotics IV, locked in psychiatric ward..
Being stupid and using lots of days in a row can lead to stimulant psychosis. I was off meds and drugs and no disorders for a long time and I began thinking and imaganing and feeling thigs that were not real.
I am making myself very brief.. I could write an essay about my experiences and dangers..
