I'll start this report off with saying that I am a decently experienced drug user, I've dabbled with the likes of mephedrone, speed, cocaine, ketamine, marijuana, shrooms, nitrous, and mdma (the quality of which was not even in the league as the stuff which I will be describing), so nothing too serious but I would not describe myself as a newbie to the scene.

My story begins on a cold autumn night in the city of Montréal. Having just moved there from the UK I thought I would try out some of the fabled American pills I keep hearing so much about, and was presented with the perfect opportunity -- an all night dubstep night.

I started my adventure off by waiting for my friends at my house doing tequila shots with my girlfriend and dropping my first pill at around 10:00 pm. The minutes seemed to crawl by like hours and at 11:30 pm I was still feeling nothing so I proceeded to drop another and get intimate with the other half successfully (which I assume most likely means the mdma was not being processed by my body yet which is very odd).

At 12:30 pm my friends arrived and we decided to head over to rave while the night was still young. Shortly after greeting them they informed me that they had another one and a half pills for me to have from the same batch for later that night, feeling aggravated at my lack of energy and empathy I decided to drop both of these as well (very irresponsible I know)

We arrive at the dubstep night at around 1:45 and I am starting to get VERY annoyed that there seems to be no noticeable effects (these pills were extremely costly and sold to me by a friend who vouched for them). I entertain myself by skanking (dancing) with my girlfriend who is pretty drunk by this point and enjoying herself, but feel no drug induced inclination towards movement or any heightened enjoyment of music what so ever.

The Dj I came to see comes on at around 3:00 am and I am starting to feel a slightly numb sensation throughout my body and I feel like I am preforming a completely accurate description of the music through my dancing, I felt like a deaf person could have gained a realistic idea of the sounds through my movements which was an odd concept I had never experienced before.

By 4:00 am I am getting amused looks at the state of my pupils and randomly handed water (there is no noticeable colour, it was quite a hilarious spectacle), my girlfriend who has never tried md before found this very amusing.

After getting a taxi home, during which I could not help but smile for the entire journey, we arrive back at my house at around 5:30 am. My pupils are still bigger than any I have ever seen before, and everything feels amazing. My girlfriend has a small cut on her foot and I take the utmost care and tenderness in nursing her wound and I get a great sense of satisfaction from doing so. Water feels amazing sliding down my throat, I can't read anything as words seem to dance before my eyes, my vision is clouded by a grey haze, giving lights an warm halo and causing my girlfriend to have a butter yellow aura emanate from her. At around 6 am we both head to bed, but as soon as
I fall asleep I find myself laughing hysterically out loud and having conversations in my sleep. In order to let my girlfriend rest I decide to go on an adventure through the house.

My cat felt so soft it brought tears to my eyes, feeling it's fur slide through my fingers was one of the most amazing things I have ever felt. The no signal sign sliding lazily across my TV screen was more captivating than almost any of the films I have ever seen. I tried to read the paper but the words danced and floated before my eyes creating a myriad of strange patterns. After this surreal experience I decided that I felt lonely and wanted to get back into bed, just to make sure I could sleep I smoked a nice bed time blunt -- and this is where it got interesting

From this point onward I pretty much lost touch with reality, and all concept of time. Shortly after finishing my zoot I woke up on the floor feeling oddly comfortable and decided to go crawl into bed. Once I got in I fell asleep instantly, only to wake myself up by vigorously nodding my head and laughing in some kind of dream conversation and awoke to my girlfriend laughing at me. After a quick apology I decided I would stay awake for a while so the drug could wear off.

I was immediately presented with a wall of CDs floating around my room reflecting all kinds of rainbow light patterns on everything, filling the room with bright refractions of colour. After this died down viscus liquid colours appeared to pour out of the walls and saturate everything with a glowing rainbow of colours. I turned to share these strange visions with my girlfriend and saw that she was still laughing at me, after five minutes or so if difficult articulation I noticed that she was still asleep and all of her replies had been imagined. Once I turned to the walls again I was beset by cartoon dogs of all varieties flashing before my eyes and wreaking havoc in my room. Again I had a long conversation with my girlfriend about what I was seeing, (this time not imagined). The rest of night carried on in a very similar way, except the longer it went on for the more difficulty I had separating imagined conversations from real ones and it got to the point where I questioned whether or not she was a figment of my imagination entirely, let alone whether or not we had been speaking. Sometime around 8 in the morning I drifted into a restless sleep filled with vivid dreams of scintillating conversations with various famous individuals ( I was apparently speaking out loud the entire time).

When I awoke around 12:00 am I had no come down symptoms and actually felt quite pleasant and refreshed and was most definitely no longer flaccid.

I apologize for this report not being the most exciting, I just thought I would document what I found to be an extremely strange evening and the effects of a drug which I previously thought to be quite mild causing me to hallucinate more than I ever had on medium to high shroom dosages.

Bienvenue a Canada. We Canadians don't use the term America to describe North America because it makes us seem like part of the U.S.A. (who refer to themselves as America) which we don't like. We also don't refer to the U.S.A. as America for similar reasons. In the future...
Canada: Canada
U.S.A.: United States, the States, the U.S.
North America: North America

I've had a similar experience with hallucinating while rolling. It was at my friends house after a big birthday party. Everyone was going to sleep (they had only drank), but I was coming off a roll. I decided I would try and sleep too, but I would close my eyes and start dreaming weird, very realistic scenarios. Moments later I would wake up and realize that I wasn't asleep. This went on for some time until finally I got to sleep. Like you, I smoked a blunt prior to this (well, several blunts with other people). When I was experiencing these hallucinations, I was fully convinced that they were real, so it was shocking the first few times when I snapped back to reality. My guess is that it has something to do with part of my brain being ready for sleep and another part keeping me awake from the drug induced stimulation.

Yeah it's a real head fuck haha, I couldn't work out which conversations had been hallucinations, which conversations had been dreams and which had been dreams till the morning

hahaha sorry man, I've been reprimanded for doing that a couple times already. I have a terrible memory when it comes to things like this, sorry to throw you lot in with your ridiculous neighbors ;)

No problem. You'll find most Canadians will probably just politely correct you rather than actually actually get mad as well. Though the Quebecois can get a little touchy on some other subjects :D

that comeup/comedown time sounds real weird, just IMO tho.
i used to take way long to come up on MDMA and it would be like an hour and a half or so for me lol.
amapola why does it matter?
what is so wrong with the USA?

I have nothing against the states. It's just how the places are referred to in Canada so I was helping out the OP to get the lingo while in Quebec.

I hear ya bud. I'd hate to be mistaken for a Canadian. :)

Happens to me as well, I find the hallucinations to be stronger when you only smoke close to the comedown though and not throughout the experience.
