I'm finishing up my script of Oxy's and I was wondering if anyone could tell me some of the things you feel when you go through a withdrawal.

oxy is pretty bad when it comes to withdrawals man. its good that you asked this question because you dont want to find out if you dont need to.

whats the deal? can you chill out or do you need to take them?

that shit can be like H man...

i guess op was asking for a description of some symptoms, so here yu go, from my experience:

first w/d - achy like all hell, couldn't move except to throw up and shit at the same time, couldn't eat, intense mental cravings

second + - restless legs, not being able to sleep, intense mental cravings

Thanks. I've been taking maybe up to 45-60 mg per day for about 3-4 months. With this kind of dosage would I feel the intense symptoms you described?

Also, when would I start feeling those symptoms — as soon as a couple of days after stopping? Thanks much appreciated.

Oh you'll feel them much sooner then that. Figure about 12 hours after last dose. Your dose isn't high enough to make it hell on earth, but it will still be very uncomfortable. Might wanna go pick up some immodium while you still can.

You will have tremors, hot then cold flashes. You may or may not throw up. You will feel as though you have the flu. Your body will hurt. Your mental state will go pretty depressed. Good luck bro. I was crying at sad commercials.

Yup pretty much as staited flue like symtems very achey upset tummy etc but the one thing i didnt see on here YET! was yer mood will change most likely to become very bitchy or moody ...

Oxy was a worse wd than dope for me.

Sweating, insomnia, extreme tiredness and lethergy mixed with restlessness shitting yourself to death (extreme hard to extreme soft shits). Get plenty immodium or similar cheaper brands and if you can a big fuck off bottle fo whiskey or whatever to drink yourself to sleep.

Someone mentioned crying at sad movies, this happenes to me to, when Ross and Rachel split in a friends repeat i was in bits.

klonopin will def. help with the w/d. Just dont build a dependence on those, but as you said you only have a month supply so ya cant go toooo crazy haha. With your dosage it won't be all that bad but will be for sure uncomfortable, maybe if ya have some oxys left from your script start tapering, taking less and less everyday until you run out

Oxy withdrawals

Opiate withdrawals are not fun. The best thing to do is to avoid them in the first place, if you are finishing a script as you mentioned then cut those pills up in to smaller doses so that you can taper off them. You will have a much shorter cliff to fall off this way. Benzo's such as your Klonopin are one of the best ways to deal with the withdrawals. They help you relax both mentally and in your muscles. Also, if you can, sleeping through the withdrawals as much as possible helps because you are not awake to feel them. I would be surprised if your doctor would not prescribe you medications to taper off the Oxy's if you have been obtaining the scripts legally. They should taper you off of them. Any sort of opiate you can get your hands on to taper off is going to help, even Vicodin or any Hydrocodone product will help.

Good advice. I bet your doctor would help in this situation

What worked amazingly well for me was immodium AD. It is sold OTC as an anti-diarrhea opioid. Go to a drugstore and pick some up. It will attach to opioid receptors in the brain and intestines and you'll feel amazing relief. After you take the pills, do a cold water extraction with 5 or 10 mg of immodium AD. Filter it out well with approx. a tablespoon of cold water and suck it up into a syringe and snort it.

I took my last dose of Oxy about 20 hours ago. So far I'm doing "ok". Mild sweats, mild pain, no nausea, but definitely having mental cravings. I'm wondering if it will get worse than this or stay the same? Any thoughts?

I think the song by the Carpenters applies to you:

We've only begun
Before the risin' sun, we fly
So many roads to choose
We'll start out walkin' and learn to run
And yes, we've just begun

IMO, the second day is always the worse, than the 3rd day at a close second, your dose is a decent dose but not that high so they shouldn't be all that bad. Also as people were saying imodium does help out ALOT but it is an opioid so you might want to think twice about taking it, unless you have strong self control there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Also klonopin will help you out alot, if your really struggling with the withdrawals maybe ask your doctor for clonidine as it is prescribed for opiate withdrawals. I'm currently taking the clonidine and it takes away the god awful restless legs and the cold sweats and it is a mild sedative so it should help you sleep. Some people say that clonidine is the worst thing they could've done when there in withdrawals, but everybodys body reacts differently to drugs, if your W/D
