Opioids Heroin Withdrawl (?)

So...I've been trying to get of Opiates for a few weeks now...
I smoked about 3 weeks ago, and then once about a week ago.
I would not have thought I would still be going through WD now, even thought its only a little bit...but...I also thought that takingn auboxone every now and then during these past few weeks would not prolong it...but i guess it did.
Do you think that taking 1mg to 2mg suboxone about three or four different times during these past few weeks have prolonged it?

smoking dope and taking bupe would prolong your WD yes.......

either do a proper bupe taper, which it sounded like you had enough for....

or man up, and stay straight....you would have been better off, and feeling much better by now....

Rehab or methadone maintence program if you can do it the right way and not abuse your methadone take homes. I am on my 6th month of my methadone treatment and i am completely sober besides the dones and my xanax. But trying to quit on your own sucks ass and is dangerous.

I would not recament subs because it will pro long it and then when you quit taking the subs guess what you will be withdrawing from? SUBOXONE!! So IMO i would check out methadone maintence treatment centers. They are all over. Just do it the right way.

First, can you please cite the source that opiate withdrawal is dangerous?

Second, regardless of sub or methadone you're just replacing one opiate with another, so when you come off methadone you'll be withdrawing from? METHADONE.

The OP seems like he was going a small enough amount of sub and dope that he needs to just buck up and deal with it. If he didn't feel that horrible, then chances are it won't be that bad. Often times people are just scared of the withdrawals. I've done it before, straight. Does it suck, yes. Is it the end of the world, no.

I would not recommend going on a maintenance program unless you really need it. If you can overcome the fear of being sick for a week then that is what should be done, not replacing it just to maintain.

Opiate withdraw is very dangerous and it will tell u on alot of sites i just dont feel like looking it up. But i thought he was saying he was using alot not just a couple oc or ops a day. The methadone clinics that are good clinics send you to a inpatient rehab after about a year or how ever long they think you need to be on it. So by the time you get out of the rehab you will be addicted to nothing and not have a shity 2 weeks of withdrawing. maybe even more. Quiting on your own never works. You might quit for a few weeks maybe even a year. But i doubt that and you will go right back to using. Get professorial help. But thats my opinion.
