Creativity/Art while tripping

Do you get a "creative boost" while tripping? Do you do something about it?

On Lucy I happen to write a lot, I just put the pen to the paper and write and write... ideas flow so easily, I can reach the precise words in my head to express exactly what I want to say and how I want to say it... let's say it somehow wakes up the poet in me.

I'm a musician... haven't really experimented creating music on psychedelics, I don't know why, maybe next time I'll focus more on that, I just happen to grab the guitar and play using lots of delay and some flanger and get some trippy ethereal sounds.

I like to draw too, I got some paint markers (sharpies) and painted some crazy shit on my hard drive the last time I tripped, and I like how it looks, lots of colours! And now that I look at it, lots of eyes with different shapes.

Yeah I find myself being more creative under the influence of psychs, though it depends on how emotionally stable I am during the trip. If I'm not enjoying myself it's a very difficult process to express my feelings on paper.

I don't have anything to show, but I thought it was an interesting topic and hopefully some others will contribute photos or writings.
 
I really love that picture man! Good stuff! It looks like the back of my eye lids when I close my eyes on acid or 2ci.

Ive got some beats and music Ive made while tripping, but none of its completely done. I might need to handle that...
 
Dude you should buy some PC cases, and do that on them, then sell them. I've yet to see a PC case covered in psychedelic art but I'd buy one instantly if I could.

As for creativity on psychedelics, of course, 2C-E in particular seems to be very colourful and creative for me.
 
I tried panting once and it looked like crap, but generally i don't get more creative.
Or maybe a bit more creative but i never write or paint it.

And is PC case a computer case or did i miss something?

I don't know what you'd call this... a soundscape? Made it with my laptop, thumbs, and a guitar. No FX added... the delay and feedback sounds from the laptop mic and speakers loop, opening and closing the screen to change the frequency. This is not my style when sober at all, so I'd say the mushrooms definitely opened up some creative doors.

That's sick!

Personally, I love fucking around with delay and feedback when I'm tripping, I love the way it feels inside my head, specially when using headphones and having a stereo delay (ping-pong effect), pretty cool effect.
 
When I take mushrooms I very often just scribble in circles on a piece of scrap paper and watch the ink come out of the pen onto the page, really fascinated by it! Then I'll just write loads of random one line 'epiphanies' all over the place - on my hands, on my walls, on scraps of paper...
A couple of my faves:
"Vertical causation is bollocks!"
"Snakes aren't the ones you have to worry about!"
"Is this still... trendy?" (tell a lie that one was MDMA)
"One voice amongst millions is sure to be drowned out in the humdrum dumbness of its people. Even the bombs, bass and missile launces cannot be heard from space. It appears we are but a PIXEL."
"These drugs are not absurd in themselves, but open our eyes to the absurdity that is our own reality" (or something along the lines of that"

i like to paint and draw on psychedelics.. sometimes i'll mix electronic music on it. usually produce music on just pot.. i can still imagine what it would sound like if i ingested k/cannabis/lsd together. but thats still hit and miss

and sometimes i'll even listen to my 'pre-psychedelic' fl studio or line-in cheap casio keyboard tapes on acid.. harhar
