Robitussin Cough-Gels.

Hey guys, I just have a quick question.

I get really bored where I live right now and decided that a small dose of DXM (First Plateau) would be mildly amusing.
Now, I despise the taste of Cough Syrup, so that's a no go. I've been researching on other methods of consumption and have learnt that most pills have other active ingredients in them that can fuck you up pretty bad (like Coricidin).

I found out about Robitussin Cough Gels and have been researching but can't find out much info about the ingredients. Are these actually ONLY Dxm or is that just too good to be true? Are there any negative health risks with taking lots of these pills (like there are with the Coricidin ones)?

Also, is DXM safe to take with Accutane?

Alright, thanks. The Dextroverse calculator suggests I take 150mg, does that sound right to get to the first plateau?
 
Ugh robos. I'm freaking out just thinking of the dissociation feeling right now. Still gives me the shivers after 5 years. I tried it once took 200mg and felt like I was not in my body but watching from afar for a few hours. Felt too weird and I immersed myself in mindsweeper to try and keep my mind off of it until I started experiencing death when I hit a mine and rebirth hitting that little smile face. (ahhh first young drug experiments)


But yeah it was amusing and 150mg should make for an amusing night. Bon voyage!

Contains sorbitol which is an artificial sweetener and laxative.

You had a panic attack? Shit, I get anxiety quite easily, so should I worry about that?
Also, does DXM increase your heart rate?
 
Nonono I didn't have a panic attack at all. The feeling was just really weird and I was new to drugs so I didn't know what to expect. It does increase your heart rate but much more euphoria than anxiety.

How much does it increase your heart rate? Like lets say I had a resting heart rate of 80-83 (like I do now), how many BPM do you assume it would raise it by?
 
Alright, but if it gets too high would it be safe to take 1mg Xanax to slow it back down?
 
Actually, a few more questions.

Does this stuff make you stupid (with 300mg or 150mg)? My mom is coming home in about 4 hours and don't want to look retarded. Also, does it make you slur your words or dilate your pupils to a noticeable size?
 
ive tried dxm twice both times i failed to feel much. but i did it wrong because i took my doses gradually rather than all at once. and yes, ive heard dxm does make your speech slur and you might want to reconsider doing it when your mom is coming home. wait till after and just chill in your room.
 
What do you possibly have to gain from trying to speak to your parents on it the first time you take it. Chill out until you can enjoy without any worries.
 
I relation to the robi cough gels, I took 13 for my first time as I was going for about 200mg and first plateu (14 would have been closer but it was my first time). All I can say that it was a damn good dose and I didn't get nauseous or anything.

The only thing was that the come up was really odd in the sense that I would go up, level out, go up again, level out and so on until I hit the peak.

Next time I think I'm gonna crack open the pills and mix them with juice and take them in a couple shot glasses so I don't get that weird come up.


As for talking to people, I found myself to be very sociable. Similar to how I am after a few beers.
 
I decided a while ago that I would wait until everyone in my house is sleeping before I try it.
I've tried DXM once before (about 100mg) but threw up since it was really thick and disgusting cough syrup, so I've decided to go with the pills since they will be much easier to get down.

Also, De3eD, I've heard that the inside of the pills taste absolutely HORRIBLE. I would advise against it.
 
I've also heard it's vile; a friend of a friend tried to chew them before he became ill from the taste.

From my experience slurring was very prominent at 600mg. At 300mg I can talk to people normally but they probably would suspect I'm not completely sober or something is 'off'. This is for outdoors; indoors I feel the effects sort of "build up on me" because I'm generally idle doing nothing and it collects together. Others feel more comfortable indoors, however works for you.
 
On the come up, you will most definitely want to talk to someone else. But when you peak. The language barrier could be too much to bear.

At this point most likely other people on dxm are going to be the only other people who will understand you logically.

You will tend to follow your mind, but have a sound control of it at the same time. Impulse is going to be your worst and best enemy. Girls tend to dig people on DXM for some odd reason...
