Pills circa 19xx Get all your pill nostalgia discussion done here

We called them apples as well.

A bit later green Euros killed another girl and this was used as a selling point - they were pretty good but not that strong.

I'm downloading a couple of their other tunes - might be one of them.
 
had my first pill around 2004 they were pink with the letters HD on them it was the first and best pill i ever had anyone else ever had the pink HD's? of course since then the pills just got shitter and shitter stopped getting them around 07 and just stuck to mdma crystal but it still never compares to that first pill for some reason.
 
In all honesty the whole pill nostalgia thing seems a bit of waffle to me. A higher percentage of the pills around then were a proper dose of ecstacy, no doubt. Now there's loads of fakes around but the real ones are actually about as good as they have ever been. All clean MDMA ones though, the MDA pills died out with the drought it seems.

That's because you're only 12 and you missed out on the dawn of the whole dance music scene, when pills were pills, everyone in the place was your mate and you really did feel part of something mentally new. :p

Still, wish i was a kid again! :)

Yeah maybe so, I wasnt in UK at that time, but around that time the apples ( or Mcintoshes as they were known in California were pretty big, kinda sandwiched inbetween the lucky charms/shamrocks, and the rolex era, before the mitsi's came along a year or so later), for a really brief time in 96 there were some speckled pills around as well, really good stuff.

Those days were ace, that was one of the best nights I ever had, but cant spot me anywhere there( in the daytime) at that party, i was " sleeping" off some G in one of the tents :|

I left the UK in 97, and i missed the whole mitzi revival. From what i remember pills seemed to be getting a bit shit by the end of 96.

Aye.. from what I can remember it was getting pretty bad. Alot of people I now went off them round about that time. Then the Mitzers hit town.
 
i think the mitzis of 1998 were the pills that saved clubbing according to mixmag.
i started in 93 and pills were brillant,around 97 and early 98 some of the pills were
either weak/duds/dodgy.
about july 98 a batch of mitzis hit ireland and they were unbelivable.

did you ever have mcdonalds? think they were the last decent psychedelic pill i had around that time nothing compared to them. Mix of mda, mdma & mdea i think.

Everything after that i tried didn't have the same effect at all. Mitsis were straight mdma, strong but nothing like the pills before it. Calis & cloud 9's were good around then too.
