Fentanyl Patch Transmission??

A friend of a friend of mine has a friend that has AIDS and HEP C, they, are prescribed fent. 75mcgs. I was wondering what, if any, risk there was if you chewed their left over patches??...
 
I have read about tests and even if it was fine to do, it could potentially put me at risk, given the situation. So, not that I would break the concious barrier of actually doing it, I was wondering if those diseases were contractable in that manner?
 
i wouldnt risk it. what if they had a little cut and you had one in your mouth. aids and hepc are not worth getting high.
 
AID's require the transmission of body fluids (not just blood) to put you at risk, same with Hep C. So.....

The trans-dermal patch uses heat and therefore the user will def sweat on the patch. In addition they could have a sore or rash on the area and they could get blood on it as well. You dont have to see the blood or body fluids for there to be some on it or in it. I would honestly rather deal with pain or WD's then risk getting AIDs or Hep C. Is one night of highness worth your life..... i dont think so.
 
Well I'm being realisitic here and I'm gonna assume you're still going to end up chewing those patches. So I would reccomend rubbing hand sanitizer or pouring rubbing alcohol over it just to be on the safe side.

That brings up an interesting concern. The fent. patches do have some sort of alcohol based solution inside the gel. I wonder if that would shun off any bacteria in it, but there is still the question about "on" it...and no there are about three of us that were pondering the thought but as I said, I won't risk it. Don't need a fix that bad, even though I hate to see the waste!
 
you'd be suprised espcially with the 75mcg/hr and 100mcg/hr of how much of a buzz you can catch by chewing on a couple of used up patches. I've done this many times with my own patches I've had. Tried and true, been there done that. :)

U never know how much is in each individual used patch but besides smoking/eating the gel, there is a smackload of Fent. absorbed in the plastic itself. I have chewed many before and depending on how old they r, I have almost "overdone" it on a few at once. I agree the shit is strong and can be fatal if u don't know what ur doin...
