Legal high Laws in New Zealand

Hi, one of my friend has moved to New Zealand and was wondering what were the laws about me sending him legal highs from the UK? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

What legal high specifically? chemical proper chemical names if possible. Chances are no, NZ has pretty tight drug laws, much the same as Australia.

If the legal highs contain substances that are illegal in New Zealand...it would not be a good idea.

5-IAI should be fine, the others could be considered analogues.

Look up the NZ misuse of drugs act or check out the NZ customs website and you should be able to find a list of prohibited imports (I'd do it myself, but I am short of time tonight)

NZ seems to have the same 'ban first, ask questions later' policy as Australia when it comes to new chemicals, so I'd imagine you'll have trouble with it.

There is no list of what RCs are legal and what are not. In the eyes of the government, all are illegal. They will claim they are substantially similar. Can you afford a defense to prove them wrong?

Well it sucks if you ask me NZ just wants to loosen up abit why cant they let peop;e have abit of fun on the weekends or whenever that John Key hes probably so traight that Ohh how does it go "I smoked it once but I never inhaled"
