yeah i have a pretty awkward personality too (and i have a jew nose too, to mark another coincidence), his is pretty damn awkward compared to me though, i wouldn't assume i would be any better at acting then he is though.

layer cake is kind of cool, and i heard traffic is good.
this movie is basically portrayed correctly in terms of what actually happened.. if you do some searching on google you can find some articles from around the time they all got arrested.

I'll second (or third or whatever) both Human Traffic and Rolling.
"Attack of the Happy People" (a documentary) is pretty good. The whole thing's on youtube.

The salton sea is a fuckin rad movie. Val kilmer kills it.

Saw it, was lame. Much better drug movies out there. Although the one scene with the chick rolling face out in the alley, basking in the coat and her own serotonin storm....mmmm....yumm.

I was wondering if anyone was gonna mention Groove. Had some cheezyness in it, but some of the scenes with the guy first trying ecstasy had some great acting, IMO. He does pretty well at portraying a nervous "don't know if I like this" sort of "uncomfortable with his introspection" come up with a spot on transition to "WOW, I feel great!"

holy rollers is ok. more about dealing rolls than actually rolling.
I like that movie. Forest Green is in that movie shes an amazing DJ.. I was going to go see here tonight at a rave in the middle of nowhere.

check out the movie "Go". It is filmed in the pulp fiction style. Its pretty entertaining. I liked it.
