Lexapro/Anxiety/MDMA question

I have been prescribed Lexapro for anxiety/depression. I wouldn't say I'm depressed, but I am definitely anxious. Used to smoke multiple times a day for 3 years, the last year of which was sometimes over 4-5 grams a day. Now I am abroad in Europe, and don't have such a large supply, so I am smoking a lot less, but still usually once a day.

In the start of this trip, I was hardly smoking at all, so I basically went through mental withdrawal from pot. I believe this is what caused this new anxiety I have about random things. Usually it comes on a day after a hard night drinking. I know that alcohol is a depressant and can trigger anxiety supposedly. Anyways I have been prescribed to take 10mg Lexapro a day. I don't think I need it, as I already have been given Xanex as well. I have also heard there are sexual side effects with Lexapro?

But will it actually help? Xanex only stops the anxiety when it arises, but supposedly with Lexapro you can actually lose all symptoms and not be anxious about stuff anymore. The downside to me going on Lexapro is that I like to trip (used to be pretty often, now can't source) and roll on occasion(1 or 2 times a month). I know that SSRI's block the part of the brain MDMA needs to work properly, so how long would I need to stop Lexapro before expecting to roll again. 1 week? Longer?

Also, I have heard SSRI's greatly dampen the experience of LSD or mushrooms. Is this true?

Best thing I Eva did was start this medication rather take a little pill then suffer through panic attacks endless worrying agrophobia because I was worried when the next freak out would happen and shaking like a leaf all the time!

I have been taking 20mg of leap to for the past 5-6 years and have taken acid shrooms and MDMA during this time.

It severely diminishes LSD I felt barely anything taking a tab I've read that you need to triple the dose but I would advise taking it slow and trying lower doses because you don't want to find yourself on an 8 hour trip you can't handle.

As for shrooms, I've found that it does diminish the effect somewhat but not as much as the LSD.

For MDMA I have, in the past, stopped 3days before rolling. But because you run the risk of serotonin syndrome you should stop the dose a week or more in advance. Also don't take it the next day after rolling the MDMA is still in your system it is best to wait 3+ days if you can.
