I'll keep this short. I found about my girlfriend [fiance] cheating on me from a friend that witnessed enough to put it together. I didn't believe him so he took a picture when it happened again. It all adds up.

What will put me in a happy place? Preferably a RC of some kind that I can conveniently get as soon as possible.

I refuse to do drugs besides psychedelics. For now my exception is drowning my problems in alcohol... :/

Actually, nitrous was a massive help getting me through my brother's death a few years back, but it is very psychologically compulsive. Better than drinking yourself into a mess I would think.

And they made you feel better? [While you were on nitrous?]
Well I smoke compulsively, although I doubt I am physically addicted to nicotine yet. So maybe it wouldn't be a good idea.,

If you want to work out your emotions from your heartbreak then I'd suggest DXM though it might not be quite what you're looking for, it helped me kind of step away from myself and deal with my depression. I've never really had a bad trip on it. Anyway, I hope you feel better, man, I'm sorry that happened to you. Being cheated on is rough.

DXM is a really lousy substance with even lousier hangover, for me anyways, and all the people I know who have tried it have only tried it once, if that means anything about it. I could imagine it might be an escape type drug for something like you are going through, but I personally wouldn't. Ketamine though, yes. That would be well-suited to take you outside your being a short time. Introspection on that can be great, but its hard to find and, most importantly, its positive effects are only apparent when it is injected IM.

Nitrous is short acting and addictive, I wouldn't suggest it unless you are already tripping.

As for the trip, can't go wrong with a gentle PEA like 2C-I. It would be pleasant even if you don't feel so, but allow some introspection. 2C-E may be a little rough if you dose too high. It is less stimulating, but the mental effects could get threatening in the vulnerable state you are in.

During a time like you are having (I feel for you man, gone through similar stuff), its important to remember you will heal and when you do, the experience will probably have made you a more whole person, unless you got addicted to something.

nobody really cares about the rules.

This is a blatant "what should I take" post

OP - you should take NOTHING. you are totally in the wrong place to trip or do anything. You should stay sober for the foreseeable future.

LOL, well I mean-- some of us kinda care about the rules. :D

Insofar as they are useful for keeping our forum tidy...

Why not hit the "report" button and let a moderator know about the thread, if it obviously breaks a rule? :)

I think a good long break from all drugs is what you need. <3

No sense in complicating things with psychedelics at this point in time.

Hope things start looking up for ya.

I'm sory but why has only like 1 person said, you don't need ANY drugs at all. Getting fucked up to deal with heartbreak doesn't help anything. And tripping when your gonna be pretty damn deppressed is never gonna end well. =/

You and only you can do that, drugs are NOT for escaping your problems, this is where abuse, addiction and like the come from, people taking drugs to escape.

I'd definitely recommend a break, work through it on your own, then reward yourself with a nice trip when you're feeling better. Psychedelics are the worst thing you could take to escape your problems as they will punish you very hard for trying to do so.

There are drugs that can be used to escape negative emotions, but the scape is only temporary and causes more problems in the long run, this is a harm reduction forum not a "how can I make my life worse and worse" forum so I'm not going to give you any advice on what they are, as using them for that reason is equally pointless.

I'd really expect better posts from some of you, given how long you've been here and how this is a harm reduction forum.

I'd definitely stay away from drugs - at least psychedelic - for a while.

Maybe when you're feeling more stable have something like 2c-b which is quite nice & gentle.

my first and obvious advise would be to stay away from all psychoactives. distract yourself with sports, friends, art, video games,....

BUT I know that situations like that can be absolutely unbearable up to the point of total breakdown. drinking can be a relieve - but the next day will be even worse...
for me personally poppy tea was a life-saver. not only did it take away the pain for the hours it was active but also allowed me to find new perspectives and integrate them in my life...
obviously PT has it's disadvantages too. I'm not prone to addiction so never had a problem with that, but if you don't treat it with respect PT can put you into a bad place in a short amount of time...

a hopelessly broken heart might do more mental and (sadly) even physical damage than a potentially dangerous drug might do...imo/ime.

this is the thing, he's already on the booze, in terms of harm reduction I would think hitting the whippets is a positive move. My humble opinion. Less risk of doing or saying something you might later regret too. Anyway I've said my piece, let the holier-than-thou carry on.

this might be slightly confusing, but if you have never done ecstasy before then doing it now would help you a lot. however, if you are a regular user of MDMA (more than once every couple months) then it will probably either just make you more depressed or have little effect. but man, during and the days following that first roll i had it all figured out.

even if you do do E it still helps, ive been doing E for over 20 years and it still worked for me in terms of it was just what i needed to help me through the grieving process, twice, the latest time being 2 & a half years ago,
i think its a great drug for for dealing with death of people, and probably other heartbreaking things
im not recommending this im just quoting Gerald

ya thats probably true if you dont roll often. its just if you roll once every month or two you still have good rolls but you dont really have that problem solving amazing roll like the first time. and if you roll more than once a month forget about having any of the magical effects.

Psychedelics are powerful drugs, and personally, I wouldn't recommend tripping when you're not in a good place (emotionally) if you don't want to risk going on a bad trip.

At the same time, I think that same power in psychedelics can be a great tool to overcome dark times.

Saying that, if you have the chance to try ayahuasca in a ritual with a shaman who can "guide" your journey, that can be a life-changing experience... which, based on my experience, is very different from just tripping on dmt at home.

If you live in an area where there are first nation's people or communities, a sweat lodge can be a great experience to somehow "clean" your mind and spirit and reconnect with nature, get rid of the pain and suffering and embrace the new vibes and energies that the surroundings will provide.

Hope you can overcome this! Just don't listen to NIN or it will fuck you up real bad in the state you are on now.

Peace.

Ya I also agree that right now is not a good time too trip. You will more than likely think harder about the situation. You may think of what they may have done behind your back, what she is doing now.... and so forth. Chances of a really bad trip are high for you rightnow but I find that the hardest trips are the most rewarding. You may realize something that can help you get over the situation.

I reccomend jesus though, he's the best medicine for things like this! :)

Take care and hopefully everything works out good for you!
