Here's the thing...when something sounds like BS, 9 times out of 10 its BS ("if it looks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck then its probably a duck").
Sorry, I'm not going to go for that "oh everyone is different" crap here. Yes, in some instances this is true, but benzos are benzos and their main course of action is CNS depression (sedation)...so I find it almost impossible to believe that one anxiolytic benzo is the one and only benzo that will cause a "nod" when mixed with methadone.
Sorry, it just sounds utterly ridiculous and made up.
I'm not going to watch 1 documentary titled "Methadonia" to see how much doctors "hate" xanax or to see some guy say "methadone+xanax" causes him to nod. Any benzo + methadone will cause a person to nod. LOL!
Alprazolam is the most widely prescribed benzodiazepine in the United States (and elsewhere) NOT because doctors hate it or think it's this super addictive benzo -- on the contrary, doctors prescribe it because it's effective, relatively safe, easy to dose, and because they like it and feel comfortable with it.
And yes, Temazepam is far more tightly controlled then pretty much all other benzos in Europe and much of Asia due to widespread abuse, diversion, and deaths through overdose -- go do some research. In fact, the drug is banned in several countries (Sweden and Norway are 2 examples).
Also, studies have shown that Temazepam is the most sedating benzo (and the one that causes most overdose).
Check out this scientific study about that
So you see why I find it hard to believe your Xanax story. All the hypnotics are more sedating then Xanax. Hypnotics like nitrazepam, flunitrazepam, triazolam, temazepam, flurazepam, loprazolam, lormetazepam, midazolam, and others.
There are non-hypnotic benzos that i find more sedating then Xanax - diazepam and phenazepam are just 2 examples.
Look dude, I'm sorry I dont mean to sound like an asshole or anything.
I just don't believe it because it doesn't make sense to me....i guess it could be that u are reacting very very differently then almost all other ppl, but the chances of that are pretty slim (to none).
That's why I just don't believe it. Not saying you're intentionally lying, just that the facts dont give credit to your story.
