can you "max out" tolerance

After stopping methadone 5 days ago (100mgs/1.5yr) I did a couple grams of smack to help let me down a bit the next day. Then 3 grams the 2nd day, then 5, then 6 then I did 9 grams today. this is crazy! I barely feel the heroin.
Does anyone know, is it still the methadone screwing with me after five days or have i gone mental?
(obviously i have to stop this acceleration as i'm springing holes everywhere and it's costing a fortune)

Basic questions about tolerance and doing should be posted in the Basic Drug Discussion forum. I'll move it over there for you!

To help answer your question, 100mg of methadone a day translates into quite a large amount of street heroin. You have a massive tolerance because of the methadone, and it will take a LONG break from all opioids to lower that tolerance.

It is very difficult to determine a dosage because street heroin varies in purity and concentration, but this website might be of help.

Of course thats what i thought too (bad dope). But after the mods comments i don't think so. in fact i think i have some very humiliating phonecalls to make to my normal suppliers. I really didn't think the methadone would have that strong of an effect nearly a week out.
