Freebasing Ketamine

Hmmm, I decided to look up a frequent passtime of mine on google and erowid and can find little to no reports on smoking ketamine! This is fucked, because around here its one of the most popular ways to do it, its impossible to K hole, and an instant FUCKUP! (Please, dont try to tell me its the cuts that are getting us high as we smoke, we use dehydrated Quintex 10mg per ml vials).

The method? make a silver canoe, place at top, and freebase and inhale, numbs the tongue, acrid smoke but jesus, :D better then bumping!

Wasteful? Slightly, but the high is different, sends your body into a mental dysjunction of sorts. You feel on the brim of the K-hole at all times but never fall in..

Dose? min 100mg per blast (Put at top of foil canoe, tilt at 45 degree angle and heat from below, burns quickly, turns to brownish almost caramel texture after first blast, discard when it turns black)

Just so you guys know, cause most of you probably never heard of it.
 
I strongly disagree, it is my preferred method, try it yourself. I think if ya try it, you'll like it more then snorting. The taste of the smoke is slightly acrid, but thats usually just due to common cuts (ala sugartwin or dextrose) on its own, its much less acrid, kinda like what smoking a grapefruit must be like.
 
^if you are cooking liquid from vials, there would be no cut...

Why would you want to waste 100mg, and not k-hole? I guess I come from the camp that feels the entire point of ketamine is the k-hole and question why anyone would want anything else. Still seems wasteful to take 100mg if you are just looking for a buzz. 25mg IM does the same.
 
I remember hearing from some 90's raver that it can do a lot of damage to your lungs, hearsay

Yeah but seriously, what is one lol. Let's not be arrogant. I thought these forums were supposed to be about sharing experience and information? If people use slang terms that one is unfamiliar with, surely one should be able to ask what it means without fear of ridicule? =D

I'm guessing a silver canoe is a tin foil boat, like you smoke meth or H off of. You know, a long strip of tin foil folded, sunny side up. It'd be interesting to try this, but it does sound wasteful.
 
Ketamine HCl works for smoking, smoking freebase either doesn't work or is less effective than HCl, I forget which.

..Wait you meant freebasing as in smoking off foil, really you should avoid using that term in future as the real use of the term "freebasing" means turning something into freebase, which is very different.

I'm not sure how well it works smoked off foil, I've smoked it sandwiched in a bowl of bud before and it worked quite well but I can't remember if it was more or less potent than nasal. It was quite an interesting experience, but I ended up throwing up.
