I believe the netherlands have the right idea with the red light district, this is a controlled effort of prostitution, i mean they pay tax, get check ups and are allowed to do it.

The situation in the Netherlands is overrated at least from the point of view of the women doing the job.
In recent years criminal gangs have increasingly encroached on the business and put semi-enslaved prostitutes in the windows. As the activity is now completely legal it's become more difficult to prosecute.
From what I hear the situation in Australia is better for the women.

No, not at all did I have to pay more, the woman I met was very friendly. I was on my way to Burning man and stopped in as a spur of the moment. My hair was dirty and I'd been driving all day, took some E earlier in the day and was all coked up.

I have never been with a whore, but it's illegal in America for a good reason.

the guy was delusional. so are people who think prostitution will go away cuz it's illegal. luckily he only lost money but he could have lost his health, maybe his life.
my reason for saying prostitution should be legal is health related. making it legal w/ mandatory health exams is just plain common sense.

Amsterdam women are checked frequently i believe once every two weeks if my memory is correct.. they get regular check ups and its a relatively legit process, i was sketch and then i hit up the prostitute information centre nd its a lot more legit than your making it sound.. not hating, just saying

I don't make a habit of it, but I've done it once. It was surprisingly less awkward than I might think, but that is part of the job, though. But you want to make sure you find a classy one, and that will cost. Classy would entail one that is not being exploited/doing it for drugs/deep seated psychological reasons/whatever. But you don't want to fuck with one that is anything less than classy. The right one will treat you right and it will be satisfying. Think of it as an expensive date that you are guaranteed to get laid at the end of, and then walk away. As someone else said don't mistake professional interest for personal ... getting attached will only lead to bad things.

There are no laws on where, and how often girls should be inspected. Upscale (expensive) clubs normally have their own rules on how often girls should submit to medical examinations, and which doctors to use. Many girls at the clubs also voluntarily have themselves examined at regular intervals. The RLD girls we have been in touch with, normally also have regular checks, but they are not required to do so. Why? For the simple reason that the incidence of STD’s amongst prostitutes is as low as the incidence amongst the population at large; mandatory checks for prostitutes are unacceptable unless they are mandatory for all sexually active people.

I would guarantee you that you would be more exposed to STD's from a girl you met a club or a bar than you would from a girl in a brothel. At least here in Australia anyway. The ammount of girls that are not prostitutes that are willing to have sex without a condom is astonishing, IME.

Window girls in Amsterdam/Den Haag/Antwerp/Brussels or anywhere else are not required to have STD tests.

However, most of them keep tabs on their health status. Furthermore they will nearly all refuse to have bareback sex. It would also be extremely unwise to insist on not using a condom.

yeah honestly, id have no idea about the back round of the ladies in the district... just found the approach kinda tactical.
i guess here in aussie the girls are quite decent depending on how tight ur budget is really!! northern australia (brisbane + queensland) have some amazing brothels + prostitutes i hear about quite often.

No, despite having spent most of my life in what are perhaps the two countries best known for prostitution: Thailand and the Netherlands.

Today, I'm seriously considering a visit to the RLD though.
