Rolling buddies?

I have a friend (my best friend) who whenever I roll with him, I always have an amazing roll! I find that theres a select few people who Im always guaranteed a great roll with. On the other side of this, theres the people that annoy and temporarily (sometimes permanantly) kill my roll when we're rolling. For example, one time I was with a group of 4 or 5 people and we were all rolling. I laid my head back against a wall and closed my eyes because I wanted to experience some CEVs and no more than 30 seconds after I got lost into the visuals, I feel a tap on my shoulder and one of the guys there asked me "You cool dude?". I got so annoyed by this and my roll was significantly lessened.

So onto my question, anyone else here have specific people that they always have an amazing time rolling with?
 
Totally. I have specific friends that I always have my best rolling nights with.
The people you roll with can make or break a night. I only roll if I'm with the best of best friends or with my gf.
There are a few friends that kill my roll sometimes, so I usually try avoiding them during a roll night now :p
 
Pretty much haha. Another one of my pet peeves is when someone who is rolling walks up to me and says "Im rolling balls! You rolling balls? I know I am!". Im just like "Shut up, I know youre rolling because your pupils are blown to fuck and you dont shut up." Which is why I now usually only roll in home settings with only a select few people
 
I have trouble finding people I care enough about to roll with these days. It sucks, Im surrounded by nuthin but unspoken enemies who lie cheat and steal...

Worse yet they all soften and act "lovely" when they roll and then forget completely about everything they said the next day...its gross.


These days Id rather roll alone. :|

my question is, if you cant be around them when you are rolling, why would you want to be around them ever?

They come around me and the group Im always rolling/smoking with. I dont want them around me but theyre just always there. Theyre like the "little brothers" of the group, if you get what I mean by that
 
^^not really. If i dont like someone, i tell them. If they are merely annoying, I tell them. If they shouldnt be around, right at this moment, I tell them. There are definitely people i like rolling with more, but i dont discriminate when it comes to my true friends...and like i said, if im not comfortable rolling around them, they arent my true friends
 
^ By "little brothers" I meant theyre the younger ones of the group that not many people want around, but yet they somehow always end up with us. For me, theres only one specific person. I absolutely hate being around him and smoking with him. I moved towards a different group recently, but yet still connected with the old group due to dealers. Back towards the subject, I agree with "if im not comfortable rolling around them, they arent my true friends". That to me is 100% true
 
I don't mind when people ask me if I'm rolling. Some people are just so filled with ecstasy that they just want to share it with the world!! I can't judge or fault them for that =) Someone asking me if I'm okay would probably be appreciated. If everyone did their part to ensure each other's safety, maybe there'd be even fewer hospitalisations and deaths in the scene than there already are!!

Honestly, though, I've found the best way to ensure I don't have a bad roll is to roll with people that I love in a private setting =) You're always guaranteed to be around good people then and don't risk the issues that come from a public setting.

That's just me, though ;)

I know what hes talking about, and they most certainly are not light shows and not even close. Lights arent even involved in it haha. That brings me around to this, another thing that lessens my roll a bit is when sometimes starts to give me a light show when I dont want one. I try to get into it, but then I just end up pushing their hands away. My roll would also be lessened if I was giving a light show and someone pushed my hands away. Glad it hasnt happened yet : D haha
 
You got angry because someone wanted to make sure you were OK? That's pretty dumb. My rave family are my favorite people to roll with because they always have good vibes and just radiate PLUR ^_^

I absolutely hate being asked if Im okay. If Im not puking, shaking violently, yelling at people, going into psychosis, etc. then obviously Im fine

I know what you mean. Some people tend to ALWAYS ask things like that.
It's different when you might look like somethings wrong, but when someone constantly asks it can get annoying.

Exactly haha. I have a certain look when Im rolling, so people who I roll with know if Im alright just by looking at me
