Help- Vicodin 5-500

I was prescribed 20 of these following major surgery today. First question are they any good, second question, will the 5mg dosage even do anything?
 
Many enjoy hydrocodone.
5mg will not do anything. Try 10-15mg.

Do not go over 8 tablets in 24 hours due to the acetaminophen content.
 
If you have no tolerance.. 1 or 2 should do you fine.

If you're going to eat more I'd suggest doing a Cold Water Extraction to minimize the amount of APAP you'll be ingesting.

Remember the Max amount of APAP consumed is 4g/day. So CWE is your best bet if you're going to munch down on a lot of them
 
how much do you weigh? how much food will be in your stomach? ever taken opiates before(guessing not)? i would suggest 2. never known anyone to puke off 2.... hydro is a pretty tame opiate
 
I'm 200lbs and in shape and I've done plenty of oxcontin (alot), but this is the first time i've actually been prescribed something and i know nothing about it.
 
take it as needed for pain.

if you "abuse" the 20 pills they will be gone quickly.

and if your doing oxy, you may have a tolerance to hyrdo and need 15-30 mg to get "good".

if you do not need them for pain.....I hate to suggest thing...but you can save them and use them with oxy.

1. Yes, they are good.
2. No, I doubt 5mg would do anything. I'd suggest 10-15mg. The first time I ever got high from opiates I took 15mg. I got so incredibly high. Damn, I wish 15mg of Hydrocodone could still get me high :(
 
Do not snort them, not only will it burn like no fucking tomorrow, there is so much more filler/binder than actual drug. The chances that you will actually absorb any of the drug are very low. 1 or 2 should have you feeling pretty good if you have no prior experience with opiates.......just eat them.

edit: I see that you have lots of experience with oxycodone. If thats the case you may need to do a CWE to remove all of that apap.

Considering you just had a major surgery, I would recommend taking them as prescribed.

It takes me at least 15mg to get a buzz off hydrocodone, but 30mg is more where I like it. That's 3-6 pills btw. It doesn't last too long either. Since you have experience with oxycodone, you could estimate your dose by using a slightly higher amount of hydrocodone than your usual oxy dose (it's slightly less potent than oxy by weight). I find the high less enjoyable than oxycodone anyway, less euphoria and more nausea for me.

If you try to get high on them, you will run out very quickly. At the very least, try to tough the pain out using OTC medicines, and save the hydro for when your feeling better. You don't want to end up in severe pain without effective pain control.
 
one or two will definitely do something if you haven't used opiates much. the first time I ever got high on opiates was on two vicodins.

I'd take them as needed for pain considering you just had major surgery, I'm surprised they didn't prescribe you more. You don't want to run out while you're in real pain.

Twenty hydro is not a lot to tough out pain with after "major surgery" so if the pain gets too much just take them as prescribed, why run out and have to deal with excrutiating pain for a few hours of feeling good?
 
25mgs (5 pills) is a good dose to start out at if you have no tolerance....ull get a very very good buzz (ull only get a few amazing vike buzzes so enjoy them) and feel great.

Dont take too much tho because unfortionately you didnt get norcos so ull be taking in alot of tylonal with it, so dont take more than that.

I know some people will badmouth me for suggesting 25mg but seriously 15mgs??

Even on no tolernace that wouldnt get me much. First time I did 35mg (same pills you have) and had an amazing time.
