Hi everyone, thought i best introduce myself and let you all know a little bit more about me...
I joined this, and another site i read a lot today, just because i finally got round to it really...
I think i used to read the forums on this site even as a youngster, when i was gaining my first experiences with drugs, but i can't really remember. That was around a decade ago now. I've always tried to teach myself as much as possible about what i'm doing. I like to know what i'm doing usually, but especially when it comes to things like drugs, which i believe really should be treated with a great amount of respect.
I first experienced (illegal) drugs at age 16. I tried (far too much) cannabis with my friend, who'd only recently tried it himself for the first time. We went a little far, I started hallucinating, seeing space invaders descending for the ceiling trying to get my friend... i was laughing my head off. It was a good time.
Since then i've tried many different drugs, i may miss some, but off the top of my head, and in chronological order as much as possible;
Cannabis
Amphetamine
Cocaine
Magic Mushrooms (Hawaiian, Colubiam, Mexican, Thai, possibly other varieties)
Ecstasy
Mephedrone
Methylone
Ketamine
MDMA
2-AI
Codeine
AMT
5-IAI (the real stuff, or at least what i believe to be, i recognise the debate surrounding this, and other chemicals, and believe what i had to be genuine)
MDAI
I think that's it... I'm currently awaiting samples of 2M2B and 6-APB
I've followed many a thread on these forums, but i'm never really overly tempted to post anything. Maybe i'll post more now.
I started reading these forums on a more regular basis when the Mephedrone explosion first hit the UK. I wanted to educate myself as to what this chemical was, as it was the first time i would be taking a drug that didn't have age old wisdom attached to it.
I found it exciting, and thought it might be the drug of our generation, what LSD is to the 60's, or Ecstasy is to the 90's. Maybe it will still turn out to be... Though now i believe something altogether different.
What i found here turned out to be so much more...
I've always been intrigued by drugs, and how they can change your mindset, your personality, the way you see the world..., often for the better, but here i found open and educated discussion about a number of substances that i'd either heard little about, or were completely alien to me, and a whole area of chemistry that i'd never properly considered before was shown to me.
Since then, i've read a lot. I often read Advanced Drug Discussion, and i've read a lot of PiHKAL and TiHKAL. I've tried to educate myself as best i can, and i will continue to do so. The field is enormous and it's a lot to take in, but it's something i've really found myself enjoying doing, and i'm now considering the possibility of doing a degree in Organic Chemistry later in life.
A while ago now, in the 6-apb thread, there were a lot of accusations flying about regarding people with low post counts or who had recently joined being shills and vendors etc. That made me avoid joining at that time.
So now that i have joined, I wanted to give you all a good idea of who i am and how i got here, so i can point people i meet here to this post, and hopefully they'll have a better understanding of what i'm about.

I already know a few names from about the forums, Shambles, FastandBulbous, MurphyClox, Xorxoth, Delsyd are a few that spring to mind, though there's many more...
