Cannabis To Be Trialed in the Nimbin Valley

They pretend to be users by getting early 20's undercovers to go into clubs while they're on amphetamines themselves

Ive definitely seen undercover cops in night clubs, but are they really on amphetamines themselves? If the are that is ridiculously hypocritical!

Yeh its total crap..

People REALLY need serious education on the ever increasing police powers.

They have the equivalent of Nazi Germany secret police powers... in vic they can stop and search ANYONE.

Period.

Anytime.

Anywhere..

Just like Nazi Germany.

"VER ARE ZEE PAPERZ!"

I know for a fact that they are usually on dexamphetamine. Ive had drugs stolen off me way more than I've been charged, its always "this is going to the lab" But I get no little pink slip.
The clean ones use eye drops instead

I've been threatened (in person) by ringing Crime Stoppers about abusive police detectives and officers in Queensland. Somehow I don't believe "we don't even see your number, its anonymous.. umm whats your full name so you can collect a prize!"

I cant go out anymore or they would let their associates (criminal gangs) out on me. And stand by and say they saw nothing. Not the first time this has happened either, although when it has happened I did invade their turf.

Pot is illegal in OZ.The law will not change until a "Potalyser"is developed to satisfy the insurance companies in regard to operating motor vehicles and machinery.Dope will not be legalised because I can produce it cheaper than the government. If it was legalised the farms where it is grown would have to provide security 24/7 at harvest time just like the opium crops in Tasmania. After harvesting it will have to have secure transport to a secure warehouse for secure distribution to the to the burglar proof shops (no falling of the back of trucks) all this security costs cubic dollars before GST has been added !!!!

I can grow it in my garage or secluded farm at a fraction of the cost of the governments dope and sell it to my trusted friends who should they get busted and the fuzz asks where did you get it, will say to the cops "I went to the local pub walked up to a guy who looked like a smoker and asked him where I could score he said go see that guy at the end the bar"

Besides everyone knows everything the government touches turn to shit.No pun intended.

The U.S. Prop 19 model is saying $** (no prices) a ounce. If your growing at a fraction of that cost what is your cost per ounce?

I'm pretty sure those 'potalysers' already exist.
Concerns about the security seem over-blown. Take the example of Amsterdam and California.
I think most people who have never grown pot before (or never grown high grade before) underestimate how easy it is to grow properly and how long it takes.

Oops. The U.S. Prop 19 model is saying around the same price as a case a beer for an ounce of medical grade Cannabis. If your growing at a fraction of that cost, what is your relative cost per ounce?

I really hope this is a success and the rest of Australia wakes up and changes marijuana policy.

Meanwhile, here in Perth, Colin Barnett successfully just got legislation through today that changes the personal quantity limit from 30g to 10g, and having any plants now is a criminal conviction (used to be able to have 2 plants for personal use).

dident they try this a while back in canmbrah?pritty sure it was de-crimanlised and u were aloud to grow like 4 plants or somthing but the whole this went belly up prittty fast

You are talking about the decriminalisation of Cannabis that was passed by then Health Minister and a good friend of mine Mr Michael Moore.

The simple Cannabis offense notice or SCON is still very much in place here. Under 25 grams attracts a $100 fine.

The number of plants was changed a few years back from 5 plants to 2 outdoor only. Any plants grown indoor or hydro are not included in the SCON and will attract full penalties.

Does anyone yet understand how this trial is actually going to work given there has been no change to cannabis legislation?
I really don't understand why these people are putting themselves in a position where they could be arrested at any stage along the way (with a huge amount of evidence on the nimbin forum).

I'm going to visit the area that day and see what plays out.

I'm very dubious of it all. Handing over more details than I would care to wish for but I am interested to see what happens so I will go check it out and be an observer
