Benzos Valium and Opana, the quicker i get advice, the more appreciated, thank you.

I have a question i'm worried about.

tonight i took 130mg of valium (13, 10mg) and 40mg's of Opana not long after.

My question is that i'm obviously worried about OD'ing off the Valium/Opana combo, i can hardly keep my head up for more than 2 mins at a time from nodding out and i'm very tired, is it ok to try and go to sleep? and is that a high dose of valium? this is my second time using valium, i usually take xanax 2mg and 1 or 1 and a half (3mg's) of xanax usually kicks my ass proper.

what i'm mainly worried about is me mixing the 40mg of Opana with it after i took 13, 10mg valium.

my questions are,

is 130mg of valium a really high dose? and should i be worried about any liver/organ damage?

I know Opana is strong and i know by taking what i did was stupid, but 130mg's of valium + 40mg's of Opana (and a few pipe load's of weed) and i want to go to sleep but im scared i wont wake up.


so i would really appreciate good advice right now and what i should do, thanks

From reading about what benzo doses you are use to taking, and from not knowing what your opiate tolerance is, I would have to say that you are definitely in danger.

You took WAAAAY too much valium. A better dose would have been less than half of that. And since you mixed it with 40mg's of Opana....the chances of respiratory failure are extremely high.
And since you said you are having a hard time keeping your head up for more than two minutes I am very worried. You need to have someone with you, who knows what you took immediately.
And honestly, if I were you, In would seriously be thinking about going to the hospital right now. If you are not willing to do that yet, than atleast have you and a friend/family member monitor your situation(hear rate, breathing, responsiveness) VERY VERY closely and if you get ANY worse at all....you need to either call an ambulance or go to the hospital on your own. Cuz you could stop breathing and once that happens, i only takes like 3-5 minutes before you have permanent brain damage.
That, is most definitely not worth it. I think having to tell your parents or friends how many drugs you took and having to deal with a hospital bill is well worth saving your life.

Please for gods sake be careful and have someone there with you. That is one of the msot important things right now.
Then you need to make the decision on whether or not you need to go to the hospital.
BUT DO NOT GO TO SLEEP AT ALL!!!!!

DONT DONT DONT....you could very easily die in your sleep from failing to breath. Make sure your friend atleast keeps you awake.
 
Well only you know what your tolerance is like. How often do you take benzos? At what doses? You should know whether or not you took too much valium. Also what is your opiate tolerance like? We need more info to give you an informed answer.

Thanks for the quick reply James, and great advice, glad we have people like you here.

I will go to the Hospital right now cause i can hardly type this without fading out and im having respitory problems, people elike you save lives and i cant thank you enough for whay you said.

oh sorry didn't see that, I am kinda drunk at the moment. But yea if you were taking 3mg of xanax, that would equal to about 60mg of diazepam. Why on earth did you take so much valium? Was it because you did not feel it kick in? Diazepam can take several hours to peak.

Yes, that and i heard 60mg of valium is = to 2mg of xanax.

im off to the hospital just to make sure i'll be ok

Dont take so much valium next time try 20-30mg's of valium. and a smaller amount of opana.

If you can drink a monster energy drink. If this ever happens again.

It's like you almost need to hold your eye lids open from closing during a strong benzo induced opiate nod.

I'll leave this open so you can let us know you are ok but next time, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE confirm the doses before you take them and if there is any question, take less because you can always take more later.

Perhaps, but I would much rather be safe than sry. And over the internet its hard to see exactly how the person is acting/looking, so they may very well be about to pass out and stop breathing for all I know cuz at the doses he was taking, there was a very large possiblity of that.
Its just I have had friends die from that exact same scenario(and almost the exact same drugs too)....adn i just didnt want it to happen to anyone else.
Also, some people tend to act like there symptoms of overdose are insignificant and they just keep noddin off until they fall asleep and then die of respiratory failure. Thats pretty much what happened to my friends.

Thanks for leaving this open Cane, much appreciated.

So i went to the hospital, had my brother drive me for obvious reasons, and they gave me something for the vomiting and charcoal to drink to puke up anything in my stomach to get rid of anything that might be still getting me high, did a bunch of bloodwork, and they kept me there like 8 hours to make sure i would be alright.

i hope this post makes sense cause im still fucked up on the valium! and i slept for like 17 hours when i got back home from the hospital and woke up still feeling it... stupid stupid me for doing that, never again, i learned my lesson on that for sure.

Anyhow i'm ok now and thank you all who posted in this thread with good help/advice, especially you jamesbrown, you pretty much probably saved my life.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, that is what this site is all about.

And thanks again Cane, you can do as you please with this thread now since im ok.
 
damn man good to know your ok....when i read this post and u said u only took valium once i honestly thought you had a very high chance of not waking up if u wwent to sleep....whenever u hear of people that died from like a opiate overdose....it is almost always combined with benzos.....i personally have a high opiate tolerance and i wont even take like any more then a half milligram of xanax with my shit and thats only if i am having trouble sleeping...its a proven deadly combo and the warnings about it are true man....be smarter next time im sure you will
