Hey there...so i regularly shoot morphine 60's, generally two at a time, so about 120 mg per shot depending on how perfectly (or not) i cook it. i also usually save the dried residue in the spoon to cut up and "recook" later, when i need something and don't have, or can't find, other drugs. sometimes i'll even do the recook later that night or day. my question is: how much of the original 120 mg of crushed morphine can i expect to find in one of these recooks? one will generally get me at least somewhat high...not crazy tingles or a prelonged rush, but definitely somewhere good.

Does anyone know roughly what %age of the original cook would be in a re-cook? I'm asking so i don't accidentally do too much sometime...any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks, and stay safe ppl:)

noones going to be able to give you an accurate %age of how much morphine ends up in the final solution; as you said it comes down to how well you prepare the shot.

and by cook i hope you don't mean adding heat to the pill because that only allows more of the fillers and binders to dissolve and end up in your body clogging arteries and veins and your lungs, etc. you ultimately want to be using a .22 micron filter to filter out as much of the non-actives as possible.

and it's not a very safe idea to be saving up the leftovers to inject either as the longer you leave it the more likely it's going to end up contaminated with bacteria growth. as long as you prep the shot efficiently enough there's no reason to put it through a second wash because there's going to be a minimal amount of morphine left at best,

The wash usually has little to no mg left in it, but you could always taste it if its bitter that's a indication there is some remnants of the morphine left, oh and btw i love those orange 60s. The way i rig them up is by cooking up 100-110 units of water until it boils hard then dump the pulverized pill in then cook it a little more that makes the wax and shit settle down into the spoon, then drop in cotton, draw up and i re-filter in a clean spoon and a new cotton, the shots are always clear with nothing visibly insoluble in the final solution, then find a good mainline and bang, that crazy histamine rush is wild, pins and needles like mad, but the sedating effects of morphine are quite pleasant imo and it lasts a long while as well.

Solution looked clear in the end, but of course insolubles will exist without a micron filter.

thanks for the info, much appreciated:)

and leftwing i know it's not great to add heat to pills, it's just the only way i was shown to do it...will it still work if i don't heat it? i will invest in some micron filters, but will those make shooting pills significantly safer?

I always thought the best way to rig up morphine was to use a push like when you rig up methadone. By push I mean oral syringe. When I took the time to do that my shots were always a lot stronger. I put a coffee filter at the bottom of the push, then put your crushed pills with hot water and pushed it through the filter into another spoon. Then repeat, filter with a cotton and enjoy.

bringing it back form the dead....

Nothing beats a micron filter. methadonian I have seen that set up in the past but still the risk is not worth it. You will never know if the coffee filter fibers, and residual insolubles make it into the final solution.
