Using Diphenhydramine to go to sleep on stimulant psychedelics

I've recently been put in the scenario where I really wanted to go to bed on 2c-e, and its been about 7 hours of tripping btw, and I didn't want to take any xanax because I save those for work, and I'd have to swallow 2 bars to go to sleep. So I ended up just laying in bed till 6 in the morning, and finally got to sleep. (Thank goodness I didn't have work the next day) My question is, would swallowing say, 50 mg diphenhydramine to go to sleep, be a good idea when still tripping on a psychedelic? or would the 2c-e or others, potentiate the diphenhydramine, to the point where I'm tripping from the benedryl? Thanks

naw it should work fairly well at putting you asleep, so you can save your xans for work.

I use it all the time to help me fall asleep after a night of 2ci, usually at 100 mg though

I do this and it works great for me. 50mg is enough to do the trick.

You also may want to try melatonin. It's usually available in health food stores as a supplement. I was once really tripping 8 hours into an LSD trip and needed to get some sleep. This, I knew, would be near impossible. A friend suggested melatonin and I took 2 mg. To my surprise it worked wonders and I slept like a baby!

I have also heard melatonin works well. It is often used by regular long-haul flyers to combat effects of jet-lag.

I've had tremendous success with melatonin. For some reason, I sleep exactly 8 hours. and wake up refreshed and ready for a full day.
