I am brand-spanking new to this but I was on .5 clonzepam when I had insurance. I no longer am so a girl gives them to me when shes "in the mood for it"
How do I get klonopin without having to pay thousands to see a doc?

Im having serious panic attacks and im debilitated.

:p

Just call whatever doctor was prescribing them and see if he'll call in a refill over the phone so you don't have to pay the cash to see him/her. A lot of doctors will do this, esp. if they know your situation with insurance. Klonopin generic payed in cash isn't expensive even without insurance. The .5mg's are the cheapest too. Even if you were prescribed like, 120 of them it would still be under $40

shrinks arnt going to cost you thousands of dollars to see. it might be a few 100. they will perscribe you something by the first visit. thats their job, to push pharms.

if you dont even want to spend that... you could try going to free clinics. i went to a free clinic in berkeley a few years ago. they where passing out methadone like it was candy.

sum places have free clinics that can get u sum free.also sum kava and stuff like that will help with the panic 2 and iz cheap.

yeah... some areas have better clinics then others... SF/Berkeley is really good to the homeless... South Park does not lie.

I can't imagine having to pay everytime I see the doc. Here in the UK we have the National Health Service where all docs, hospitals, prescriptions and even dental care is free. Only place in the world with such a service.

@RedThorn, I agree. I live in Canada, although the UK have a better setup than we do, I couldn't imagine having to pay for each visit.

@pandamanda87 If your panic attacks are becoming unbearable and you are having trouble finding a doc. You should try researching Niacin (vitamin B3). It has similar effects as benzos. So maybe you can control your anxiety with Niacin in the meantime. I hope you find a solution soon man.

yea, i dont know if you you have personally ever tried niacin for anxiety but in my experience it is comparable to taking T3's for heroin withdrawal, or spitting on a fire to put it out.

i honestly think that if the OP actually has severe anxiety like she said(which I can understand completely because I have the same) then there really isnt much worth taking other than benzodiazepines.
If I had to reccommend some other drug to help with her anxiety I would have to say some benadryl and high dose valerian root.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it did much as I've never tried it out. I just did a quick google search for alternatives to benzos. I too have crippling anxiety, but luckily I've never been without clonazepam. So to the OP; I hope you get this sorted out soon. Good Luck.

I'm just going to state the obvious here -despite the fact that it's a vitamin, you still have to be careful not to overdo it.

"Signs and symptoms of a niacin overdose include:
Rapid heartbeat
Skin flushing combined with dizziness
Itching
Nausea and vomiting
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea
Severe liver damage (hepatoxicity)"

Last year I was having a panic attack and I was away from home. I remembered reading about nutmeg having some calming effects in small doses and semi-psychedelic effects in medium to large doses. Luckily my friend had some. I took about 1/3 or 1/4 of a teaspoon nutmeg. it took a long time but I it did help. It might have been a psychosomatic effect though. Just know that nutmeg is really hard on your liver in high doses.

It can be fairly toxic. The same is true of niacin, if high enough dosages are used.

You can call around to local psychiatrists and get "quotes" on how much they charge per visit. It should not be too expensive.

If you end up seeing a psychiatrist, they may write you a prescription with refills so that you don't have to pay to see them each month.

If you get a prescription, call around to pharmacies to get a price list on their generics. I know that some benzos are very cheap since they have been around for a while and a lot of generics are available.

Mr Brown, I agree 100%. Valerian root ( extract) or Passionflower works wonders for me.
