I would like you to discuss this because i've tripped many times but always with the same print. Do you think what is printed on your blotter might have subjective effects on your trip?

<sknrxxx! just snorted up last sip of tequila thru my nose... oww... thanks alot bub>

Vell let us ponder zis verrry carrrefully <stroking imaginary psychoanalyst's goatee>

The more pertinent question is: are you a highly suggestible person who believes how random people on the web you dont know and who dont know you answer your completely subjective and totally unanswerable questions?

If YES, then YES.

If NO, then NO.

back to my far more important mediations which you so rudely interrupted :| zzzzzzzzzz.....

I guess it's possible to have it influence your trip in some way. Never made a difference for me though or anyone else I know though.

Better question: is there anything anyone remembers that doesn't in some small way influence every psychedelic experience?

placebo is perhaps one of the strongest substances known...

the answer to the OP is 100% yes - the print might effect the trip for some people.

About a year ago in my little corner of New England there were sheets with Einstein's face floating around. I partook of this print a half dozen or so times and all the trips were what I'd deem pretty intellectual and in the head with lots of clearly forming ideas flowing easily. Great great stuff.
With one of those experiences I was thrown into a beautiful ++++ on a gorgeous autumn night. The air was so clear, and tears started coming as I watched a tree in front of a dorm whilst smoking cigarettes with my ex and a friend who had provided the doses. This friend I would place in top 3 wonderful human beings I have met in the past 4+ years. AHHHHHHHHHH. WANT. Hahah.

Anyway, to the OP I would also say the print can certainly affect the trip. The mind is a powerful thing. Of the Einstein print; I'm not sure if the print affected the trip because I remember making the link of intellectual trip and an intellectual man after the fact.

Or maybe the cook/ people laying the batch knew that that particular recipe/batch/whatever produced an insightful intellectual experience?

I'm no expert, so maybe it is all just the same old LSD-25 no matter how you cook it or what starting materials you use, etc., but i've heard many many different names for different batches of crystal.

In contrast to the first poster, I think this is a very interesting and worthy thread topic.

P.S.--- Daft Punk is the bomb snizzles, and Mephedrone is an evil seductive temptress. That turns me blue. Goodnight.

I must be immune to the powers of suggestion in this regard... I once ripped a page out of the Book of Mormon to roll a joint and double folded it to use to distribute some drops for me and my friends. hahahahah I'm doooomed!

altho on the other hand, if the main character of the book is like, take this and eat it when referring to his body, I don't think he'd mind much that I used a page of his book lol

^That's a great story, and a nicely written post Catfish! You rule, dude.

Sorry to broagan if I seemed rude in my post above, it's just that it seems a kind of goofy question. I mean if he's really done as much lsd as he says ("alot"...all from the same sheet? hmmm...) he certainly ought to know that it can always make you highly suggestible, so that ANYTHING, totally at random, the blotter art, a single image in a magazine you saw 3 weeks ago, a billboard on your drive to work yesterday, a dead bird you saw in the road, a bug on your window, your last phone call with your Aunt Sue 2 weeks ago... ANYTHING from ANYTIME can stick in your mind and randomly pop up again and "influence" your trip, right? The answer is clearly "Well yes, it could in theory influence your trip... ANYTHING in your mind 'could'" Who could possibly say what will, when and why? It's just so completely unknowable! Especially as a question to a bunch of totally unknown strangers from whom you are going to get a totally random set of answers.

So why bother to ask? That's the reason for my rather flippant answer, which I tried to at least make amusing. So that broagan might think over the point of the question a bit, not expect much in the way of "helpful" answers, and maybe explain a little more why he asked.

So, what WAS the blotter art on your sheet? HAS it been influencing your trips on it? How so? Do you find it distressing or just interesting?

Perhaps the proper question was just a request for others' stories rather than a curiously framed inquiry about some general property of LSD itself. Obviously, it's not a property of the LSD molecule, it's a property of the person taking it, right?

"Has anyone else had the blotter art affect your trips? How-so? Here's my story... let's hear yours."

Well, if the point was a sort of sly, well-meaning "troll" in order to stimulate some interesting remarks, I guess, job well done, mate!
