Dreaming for Freedom from Drug Prohibition What's the situation in Mexico/Colombia?

portugal has the most laxed drugs laws in the world. google drug laws of portugal and you will see they just released a study bout a month ago on how good of a success portugals take on drugs has been. would love to go there myself.

Thanks Shake, I'm surprised I hadn't come across that info before now.

Go to Europe, man. countries like france, england and amsterdam have programs like needle exchange but much more broad. in some places you can be a legal heroin addict, and get your supply from the government (so i've heard). unfortunately tho, the opiate-addict community, despite these improvments, remains pretty desperate and strung out. its a great dream, but the reality of the situaition is that no matter the laws, the immense pleasure from addictive drugs comes with a physical and mental toll. its almost like we pay a karmic price for feeling that good.

This is only in Switzerland, I believe, and you must be a Swiss citizen and have failed multiple drug treatment programs in order to qualify, its only a small trial program.

nahhh man, Portugal is nothing of that.Thty want to msake sa impression of o progressiv country, but realy what they want is to mascarade the big drig problem they have!
I know hwat i am talking, i´m Portuguese , using druggs since 12 to now (48 ), They have vans that change seringes, condoms, water, whats that?aids prevention?msibe!and the rest? why we must go to a !favela!to buy a quater of heroin?to a gipsy camp to buy (nothing against the Gipsies, i have some friends from that race!)

problem will be solved when givernements had the butts to fabric, sell those products: heroin, coke, methamphtamine, benzos, methaqualone, to pepople who wants them.all controllled, ok, trying to reduce doses regularly, group theerwspy to give excample to others,

invest in drug problem, thinking in alcohool also, a drug also, but legal for sure!

don´t now mwn, i ´m very stonned, sorry for something stupid, Evo Morales took the fisrt step, chewing coke leaves in ONU, alcohool is not also a killer dr?how many alcoholics are in Europe?they now alcohol is a drug, so whi they dont legakize others too?

I saw it on t.v., they have like 15 of the places around the country. You dont have to pay any money, and get it for free.

mexico has not decriminalized possession of drugs. It has been discussed a couple times but it has never been passed.

uh yes it has

I don't do opiates and no pharms anymore at all, either.

Considering that I already do a massive amount of psychedelic drugs, have for years, and have found a really happy, yet pretty damn heavy balance to work on.... I don't want to add something that works as any opiate lover describes! (I believe it, I don't want the cost dependency or any more intoxication of possibly deadly sort, really.)

What's your secret dude? I want to live in a world without a t.v., that would be great. It's not like you need one anyways%)

haha i just simply didn't bring my tv when i moved into my current pad, simple as that. I don't really have the desire to watch tv ever, and if i want to play video games, i just use the computer or go to an actual arcade. Same for movies, just watch em online or in the theater...but usually nothing good is in the theater so I don't have to worry about that.

^^I have to agree that being away from a TV isn't so bad. Honestly I don't much have the urge to watch TV that much besides watching sports. When you watch TV a ton, you get sucked into watching particular shows religiously, but once you get away from it, you kinda forget those shows exist. At least that's how it is for me. Only reason I have a TV in my room is for the PS3 and 95% of the time I watch my sports streaming on the internet, so I'm basically a television free person. Not totally though because if there's something that sounds super extra cool being broadcast, I usually try to check it out.

Yes, I still watch movies or something that somebody insists on and enjoy some film analysis, but being an American child that watched tv hours a day filled me in on enough pop culture and I loved it when I was into less interactive forms of entertainment. (I gotta say that my future kids should deserve a rounded enough collection of media and others forms of entertainment to where they can catch some social cues, laughs, etc without developing a will to become a fat drone lol.)

I say the best solution is all us BLers assemble their money, buy an island and we declare it an independent country. That's my solution to the problem. I of course have no idea how we would acquire goods to trade so we have the currency to acquire drugs in order to achieve a prohibition free country haha.
