Heroin Would it work to take H this way?

umm i was wondering would it work to take heroin this way ?

basically what you do is heat the heroin in the tin foil, which then goes up the straw and you then breathe in the smoke? and when you are not breathing it in put your thumb over the straw or something?

i have a picture to help explain it better >.>

ok thanks for the info guys, im just worried that if i chase it then i might waste it all due to not getting all the smoke... since it would be my first time >.> or would i be better off snorting for my first ?

I'm just really worried about ODing :/
 
If you're worried about ODing then snorting is not such a hot idea...

Smoking = (virtually) no chance of OD. All other methods are way riskier.

As long as what you have isn't shite, and you have a reasonable (but not disgusting) tolerance to opies, smoking is plenty strong enough even if you lose most. 60% of the active ingredient is lost through smoking by even the most experienced chasers (according to something worthy I forget but cannot reference) and they still get plenty high. It's potent enough for you to be the world's worst chaser and still be flat out after a decent toke ;)

ok so for my first time i would be best off smoking?
should i have a friend with me to call an ambulance if something goes wrong? or is that less likely to happen with smoking?

Also are there any more 'in depth' tutorials on smoking H? because the only ones i have found are very basic and dont go into to much detail...

Slash what country are you from? Different types of heroin (usually regionally specific) smoke differently.

Like powder from the UK needs caffeine to smoke it (I think), and tar from the US smokes pretty well.

Oh, and did you use "Paint" to make that pic?
 
^ Powder in the UK has caffeine added to facilitate smoking. Has no effect on IVing that I ever noticed but, as the H we get here is freebase I believe, it makes it very smokable without having to add owt. The fact that smoking is inevitably gonna be safer than snorting or shooting or whatever would apply wherever you are in the world and whatever kinda gear you use, as far as I can see.
 
well i am from New Zealand, i dont think we have much heroin here that i know of but i assume most of the H we do get comes from australia, but i am not completely sure.

EDIT: Yes i used paint lol :p
 
You don't wanna tape the straw to the foil though. H on foil, and hold flame just close enough to have the heroin vaporize... Chase smoke with straw
 
It's always been visible when I've chased UK heroin. I presume the same goes for elsewhere but am not elsewhere so couldn't say for sure.

Chasing is a tricky skill - can take a good while to get really proficient at it. Most of my earliest tokes were supplied by experienced smokers who can guide the "beatle" (blob of smack) for you and leave you with nowt to do but suckle at its tail. You lose a load at first when you go solo but, being expensive stuff, you learn to economise and get maximum value soon enough.

As for the diagram, that is pretty much the technique for chasing. It's a tad trickier than in looks in your pic at first sometimes though...
 
Thanks for the info, i also saw somewhere about a thing with a lightbulb or something when chasing heroin and it is supposed to be easier to get all the smoke?

Is it recommended to use this lightbulb technique??

If it is, is there some sort of tutorial which guides you through the steps on how to do it?

this is the way to do it

but hold the foil at an angle so the shit slides as you heat it and hold the straw not directly above it but closer to the foil because the smoke follows the foil up.
