Opioids heroin cut with darvon

how bad is it to bang heroin cut with darvon? ive been iving it for like a few days now, and just found out its cut with darvon. also whats the easiest way to purify heroin?
 
its just another form of opiate like codeine so just the same risks as hitting heroin with codeine mixed through it what ever that may be but from what ive read darvon is a pretty weak opiate so its probably not that much of a hazzard overdose wise but dont quote me on that. But it would probably make your hit feel better than if it had been mixed with some other crap, at least its mixed with another opiate
 
It depends what type of propoxyphene is being used. Propoxyphene HCl is water soluble but Propoxyphene Napsylate is insoluble. So if it is propoxyphen napsylate I would definitely, definitely say that banging should be avoided at ALL costs.

Having said that, besides destroying your veins, the other nice things about propox is it's cardiotoxicity, the extremely low amount you need to OD and how much you need to take in order to even feel anything (therapeutic index is terrible). It also interacts with a lot of other things. So even if you do have propox HCl I say you should still consider giving another dealer's stash a try. If you absolutely have no choice, just remember that propox is extremely dangerous when it comes to OD's so watch your intake. Probably compounded by H so you have a harsh situation on your hands. And while you might have a high tolerance to opioids, this won't come into play when you OD on propox. And it can't be reveresed by naloxone / naltrexone.

How sure are you that it is Darvon? I can't find too much info but I see that Darvon-n is the napsylate salt but Darvon (no n) is the HCl salt. The easiest way to purify heroin is found on erowid.org but it is not easy. If it is Darvon-N it would be much easier as you could do a cold water extraction (provided you have a largish amount or alternatively the patience and finess to work with tiny amounts of water). And also if you didn't mind some of the stuff turning into morphine when left in water for too long (IIRC).

because whatever they put in it makes it nasty as fuck like that
first time i got one, i opened the capsule and took a tiny bit out to test (to see if it could be snorted) and it burnt like no fucking other worse than methadone..felt like i had a scab inside my fucking nose

and Darvon is really risky.. it has a fine line between Ok and OD
 
is that ODing risky in relation to IV'ing the darvon or just in general with consuming it?

I mean, the burning taste is intense and long-lasting.

Does that equate to a caustic effect on veins and the heart?
 
Darvon is the shittiest opioid in the world and lots of people OD from it(probably because they keep taking more because they don't feel it at all). How do you know it's cut with Darvon? If you're dealer told you he cut it with Darvon after you got it, maby you should go back and blow all that you have up his nose and take all the money on him and H, and throw all this destroyed heroin in a toilet, because he is obviously worthless to the world.
 
It's absolutely awful unless you're micron filtering every shot (even then it's really bad.) The amount of binders and fillers there must be pretty terrible.
 
darvon HCL is in a capsule and is already a powder... no binders...

but burns to taste... ive heard of peeps iv'ing it.... said it was a "rush... just interested.... dont want to do anything stoopid

True, although there are still fillers. And I'd e skeptical about it actually being pure propoxyphee versus propoxyphene/acetaminophen as well, people commonly use darvon and darvocet interchangeably, even though they are distinctly different.
 
I am not skeptical about whether or not it has APAP or is darvocet considering I just filled the script for 90 capsules

and I can read the label...

Overdose looks like a decent risk, let alone the possible complications of the IVing alone.
 
Propoxyphene IV'd feels considerably good. But since Darvon-N is really the only kind of Darvon prescribed these days your shit out of luck.
 
I shot ~130 mg's of darvon HCL earlier today...

I tried to use vitamin C tablets to help with the salt but I do not think I used enough.... would need a larger volume syringe...

anyhoo, I did manage to get a seemingly clear liquid at the end after four or five filters....

It did burn at first, but then felt wonderful, but, of course, very short lived...

I am going to try it again tomorrow.... it will be the last time due to worries about the caustic aspect to my veins and heart

any suggestions NOT RELATED TO CONVINCING ME TO NOT TRY THIS

ps, I am a very well experienced IV H user, not for over a year, and darvon is great for me... horrible for pain, but I do get euphoria from it


WOULD NEVER WANT IT LONG TERM THOUGH
 
^everything has pretty much already been said. The only other HR related thing that can be recommended (beside not doing it) is to use micron filters.
 
Don't use Vit C tablets! Get some pure Citric Acid instead. You're risking enough shooting
Dextropropoxyphene as it is mate :\
 
did it three times with ~130mg's each time... prolly more like 100mgs...but


it was nice each time... felt a little rush... never again though
