CIGARS.. What's the point?

I didn't know where to put this so mods do what you have to.


I'm just curious why do people smoke cigars? They taste awful, smell worse than a fresh shit, and can be extremely expensive. What's the point to them? What makes someone say "A cigar would be good right now?" I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to inhale cigar smoke so I think that would eliminate any chance of getting a buzz.

Any cigar smokers out there let me know what's up!

I get smoking a cigar in a celebration time but other than that I'm clueless.

good question OP. i've wondered the same thing. i always hear just for social occasions and i always hear you don't inhale. in that case i'd rather have a popsicle. at least it tastes good.
 
oh shit, if you really like popsicles check out the Jolly Rancher brand. they're fuckin' amazing!

I really, really enjoy cigars. I think generalizing them as all tasting/smelling like shit is just ridiculous.

The tastes very subtly and are very enjoyable and relaxing. And you can definitely get a buzz from a cigar, nicotine readily absorbs in the mouth and throat area. Plus, a large dark cigar can have 400mg of nicotine whereas a normal cigarette has 1mg.

My favorite domestic is the Montecristo Especial no3 white. Smooth, clean, strong. I love it.

Genuine cuban partagas presidentes are also very good.

good reply, that's the kind of info I'm looking for.

It's just my opinion that they taste bad, but I've only had a few cigars so I don't really have much experience to comment on taste.

i just can't see myself sitting with friends smoking a cigar lol. much rather would have a drink, or weed if i still smoked
 
Black and Mild wine flavored tastes pretty good. And I have inhaled the smoke a few times when I was having nicotine withdrawal from no dip. It barely helped, so I'm guess the pipe tobacco in Black and Milds is weak.

They taste great and I enjoy smoking them. I typically do no inhale as I usually have a Grizzly pouch in when I enjoy a Black and Mild anyway.
 
cigars are only good when they are gutted and replaced with finely broken weed preferably a large amount so i can sit there and puff ridiculous amounts of weed smoke into my lungs

gimme a line, a blunt, and a shot of whiskey and im feelin like a mob boss
 
what are you guys talking about, fine cigars smell and taste wonderful. they do in fact get You buzzed without inhaling. as far as a swisher compared to a fine cigar, its like smoking cardboard.
